VERY SIMILAR Only with a 1.3 engine rather than the 50cc engine the three wheeler has. They've still got a top speed of 45mph and can carry up to 400kg but will probably only do about 10mph
  2. essex rider replied to sherco 125's topic in Scorpa
on an american website it said $9000 so i guess about the price of a 4rt or maybe a bit more. Im guessing they will start as they have a yammy engine and these always start!

The moment im allowed to drive its having wide off-road wheels, chrome bullbar and a Yellow roll cage (rally style)
  4. looks good (Get it anodized in purple though) Do you ever get your trousers caught on it?? as the carbon fibre ones have a tab which tucks in to the mudguard

I wanted to put the first entry in the motoX forum I dont compete but like to go and thrash bikes around the track on a practise day. Huskies were the best. the 510 i think?? Was the best scarey but great What does evryone else think of these kind of days, Good/Bad or would you prefer to have a private track for these bikes only not open for all!
  6. not many weaknesses if a light eight year old is riding them. I would go for the onza as there are a lot of rumours about saracen build quality. Try ebay as well. I got a megamo for about

Everyones arguing (bad karma) If you really want a beta or a gas gas choose, but unless you're rich you can only get one. Try other makes as well (Mont's, Scorpa, Sherco) and see which suits you best

Yes there are coz i sold one on there a while ago I had a go on a 06 125 gasser and they are sooo light but i found it hard to get traction on unless you lean really far back, also a nasty hole has worn in the exhaust so i bet thats gonna be expensive!!
  9. yeah GULP you should

  12. essex rider replied to dale's topic in Sherco
i found this out the hard way when i brought my fantic and didnt check them before i rode off. This was the first trials bike i ever had and i tried a steep short climb and the chain turned on the sprocket and i fell back down Change it before this happens (it hurts and sounds terrible) I have a talon radialite sprocket on my bike and its still fine and i brought my bike last year!!!
  13. mines been welded but with gas The washer was a thicker one and welded with nickel bronze so really strong and it looks gold where its been welded.
  14. Test ride both of them and see which you like most eg riding position I would personally go for a beta but thats only coz ive got one
  15. essex rider replied to sherco 125's topic in Sherco

At a national trial near me (The phil king) Most of the expert riders were on betas and damn good riders they were as well and they all finished! Near me its the other way around, gas gases wont startand betas will. at the start everyone with a gasser is frantically kicking away and my BETA starts second kick every time Why do you think saunders switched from gas gas to beta (i think the oil importing stuff was a cover up, really he wanted to go to beta coz theyre sooo much better)
  17. essex rider replied to sherco 125's topic in Sherco
why didnt you put this thread in shercs section for?? i like to use repsol in my bike Go on to BVM and click on accessories and go to oils, they have an amazing selection for you to choose from.
  18. essex rider replied to dale's topic in Sherco
Apparently sherco's go well with IRC tyres on them However dont know much about them so cant really say much else. Change the footpegs as the standard ones are horrible, trialcast or hebo ones, or if you really want to titanium raptor racing ones!
  19. Thanks MartinM i was going to bid on that and you go and tell everyone thanks very much
  20. essex rider replied to essex rider's topic in Beta

Dip them in acid then colour them Most people get it done by a anodising specialist Candywheels.co.uk will be able to do them for you if not get yellow plastic ones, a bit of mud will soon have them looking a bit gold
  22. damm its quite funny aswell Go onto trials info.com? and click on their video links and its the first one
  23. Get a beta, Dont have to worry about linkages just fit a grease nipple and thats all you have to do
