Caithness Rider
No trials in Caithness/Sutherland as far as I know. Inverness & District is your closest club (Link below in my signature). We do have a few members up there and have trials near Lairg. Get in touch and I'll give you any info you need.

Was It The Talmag Today?
Agree with you Andy. It seems (unpaid) club secretarys are not allowed to have a life outside trials and must have EVERYTHING done and dusted the same day as the event!!!

Day Membership
Yes. Firstly, we do an "Open Day", where anyone interested can turn up with or without a bike (we can supply one). The day is totally free to the rider as our club will pay all the insurance and permit fees. They get tuition, hints and tips on riding and hopefully an enjoyable day out. The rider is then given a voucher to attend a proper trial and as above, has only to pay for a day licence. This is not a large cost to the club and as said in the thread, clubs are set up to re-invest in the future, which are new riders.

Day Membership
To encourage new riders, we offer newcomers FREE day membership and FREE trial entry. Their only cost is a day licence (and getting there of course)!

Punchcard Supplier
Any local printer who does litho, would be able to the job. Just stipulate the quality of the material you require and get a quote. I use a local printer up here and the cards are fine. BTW, we use string on our cards, less strain on the card (maybe you don't need another supplier)!
