    i found like others if you dont let them warm up until the fan kicks in you will have problems with plug fouling & back fireing youve just gotta leave that throttle alone i also have found changing to the jitsie air filter & removing the flame guard has made my 4rt run much better

  4. if its the pick ups steves your man that was the problem with 2 of the 3 sators i had done takes about 14 days for the turnaround from uk but as i said not had a problem since :-))

All Sherco no all beta but it does sound simular and i know there a common fault on sherco also give steve a ring or if youve got a multimeter there are some tests you can do to check i asume you have checked the wiring on the cut out is not going to earth anywhere ?? just unlpug the cut out wiring then see if there is a spark if not then you could try the checks suggested on steves site good luck

    i too have had problems with beta stators 2 where from 2003 models same thing no spark the third was from a 2002 model that wouldnt rev out i sent all 3 to this man http://www.uk-motoplat.com/home.html the turn around to the uk is about 14 days never had problems since you can find the test procedurs on that site also

    its an 06 bike repsol so it shouldnt have had to be recalled from what ive read but to sandiford & carolines defense the bike parts have now arrived & the bike should be back together this thursday but i have now lost all faith in this bike & it will have to go im affraid :-((

    i dont wish to go into detail to much at present but i am looking for advice my bike is in for a warranty claim at present and has been there now for 4 weeks the company in question when asked whats going on continue to blame the importer for not supplying the parts were not talking small parts either i am told it needs half a crank case ??? any advice from those in the know would be greatfully received

    the chain as you know runs through a rubber tensioner i usually adjust the chain so there is approx 20mm gap between the top of this tensioner and the underneath of the swinging arm its what my manuals advise

    someone must know the answer to this i have 4rt repsol rep 2007 model which is i know a 2006 bike the question is 2nd & 3rd gear are really close together i rode 2 other 4rts both 2005 models both had the same gearing we checked all back and front sprockets all were 41 rear 10 front so did they do something to the gearing between 2005 & 2006 ?????

    same thing happened to my lads rev3 2003 last week seems a common fault on most betas it was the stator i will be sending my lads stator to steve at http://www.uk-motoplat.com/home.html who if you do a search on here seems to be the best at this stator rewind business anyway thats what was wrong with my lads maybe yours is somethig else do a search in the beta forum it is well covered as i say its a common fault (
