  11. Hi, not much help im affraid, just like to say i bought one new for my son and all the year we had it it never ran right. Depending on how hot the engine was it would either not idle or rev&go. With frequent trips to my dealer we decided the carb was pants with only the main air screw and no fuel mixture at all. He said it might be possible to fit a yamaha carb with a slight mod, we opted for the sell. Rev 50 is a different beast.

    Rev & Go 50

In my Beta minitrial owners manual it says put in 150cc of gear oil. It recommends : ip dual grade 20w/30 I have drained & refilled with this amount with no probs. !

    Beta Rev50

My son has a rev 50, we had it from new and is now just under 12 months old. The bike not my son i may add. The bike is a proper trials machine and in the right hands can do some unbelievable feats. The bike has been totally reliable with the only problem being the poor weld on the back silencer, which i dont know of one that has'nt been rewelded. My only concern for you is that my son is a small 9yrs old and we are thinking of trading for a 80cc the only thing you can do is try before you buy. Good luck Doughbouy.
  14. Went on saturday with Bikespace and kids, got there around 10 oclock by 11.30 i think we had done the rounds and were ready to go home. Had to hang around for the live arena which i will say was the highlight especially for the kids. Having been to Stonleigh the previous two years i would say the venue was better easier parking etc and more central. Being a clash with Moto 1 might of effected the trials side of the show a little. Rathmells sherco etc. The kids came out smiling so thumbs up. !
  15. No results yet? Anyone with Sat & Sun results, must be someone. !!!! Have to say what a well organised event especially Sat for the youth, gutted i couldn't stay to the Pee up after though.
  16. The Inter centre team trial 17th July. Venue is Elmington Manor Farm, Compton Greenfield. Situated approximately 1 mile from junction 17 on the M5, which in turn is 1 mile from the intersection of the M4 and the M5. Nr Bristol.
  17. I ride the *iss easy route when i do ride. Spend most of my time minding for my son sam doing the nationals. (Pretty crap at that as well)
  18. HI, I wish some people round here would have the same challenging attitude as you, as there are a few who have been trialing for a while now and still ride the easy route winning every event and thinking there Dougie!!!. To some this may seem allright but to the real begginner they are just stealing there awards.
  19. Hi, Im pretty sure there is one that comes to our local trials, they have a high roof so no problems with height. You might have to put the bike in diagonally though. Regards Ian
  20. Thanks, waiting for postal results seems forever when your eleven years old. Being a British championship you would think getting hold of results would be easier.
  21. Has anybody got pdf results for Saturday & Sundays youth abcd or know of a link, as Mansfieldmaun site seems to have died. Cheers.
  22. Cheers chap, looked on ACU site but no info on points.
