  4. does anyone have any info on section location/good spectator points. The mrs is coming with me and doesnt want to be stuck in hotel all day. Cheers Spike
  5. I wonder if Fajardo can make the ossa fly as well as the beta http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFwPSn0QmyQ&feature=player_embedded
  6. looks like danny macAskill will be wowing us again soon.
  7. did you just use the lever or something to push the plunger all the way in ????? Just the lever normaly doesnt work as it doesnt move the parts of the m/c enough.
  8. I was told by the importer (birketts) to run 70:1 fuel mix and for the gearbox Motul 5100 was the best to use as it helps with the clutch. there is also lots of info HERE
  9. It is in line with the back wheel, but I have removed a carbon effect cover that was fitted to the bottom of the shock to protect it.
  10. Well then, I have just stripped the bike to give it a service and found this schrader valve at the bottom of the shock under the plastic cover. I have never seen this on any sorpa before has anyone else??? I bought the bike off one of birketts riders a few months ago, is this one of his mods??? what pressure should it be set too???? Any info would be great.

    Fork oil

What year of bike is it? For Marzochhi used on 2008 onwards see HERE Cant find the oil quantity for the Paoli forks used on bikes upto and including 2007 but there is a useful set up guide HERE Ring Birketts Tel:01229 716806 he is the guru when it comes to anything scorpa
  12. Found this video. CLICK ME
  13. You can remove some of the springs from the clutch normally two (one opposite the other), this will lighten the clutch but may make it slip more dependant on the weight of the rider. Other than that you could excersice your left arm
  14. Hi folks, has anyone got an electronic copy of the regs for the jersey 2 day in nov? I have checked the site and only the entry form appears to be on there. Cheers Spike
  15. no need it already says beta on it!
  16. I also had a couple of technos had the stator re-wound on one and sold the other, NEVER had a beta since. Also the past weekend at the manx two of my mates had issues (both on evo's) one had clutch problems with the biting point moving throughout the trial and it slipping the other had three sections left to do and something in the gearbox went and he could only get first gear. i'm not beta bashing, but the experiences i've had with them compared to the scorpa I wouldn't go near them but my mate with the clutch prob says the only bike he will have is a beta. horses for courses.
  17. Was on about the 250 2t, but i used to have a 175 f and for a beginer (i was just getting back into trials) they are awesome. Even doone the SSDT on mine was brilliant. But the 250 2t has a proven engine, no suspension linkage to worry about. I love mine.
  18. sounds like you want a yam engined scorpa for ultimate reliability, only a nuclear war will stop it going (and thats only because I would be in work that day )
  19. after i had a gas gas stolen (they prob done me a favour, it was a gas gas after all) I have insured all of my bikes and got them road reg too, gives you more of a chance to get it back. although i use the msm policy that allows use for trials and enduro.
  20. how do you know if an unregistered off road bike is stolen or not? if it's a genuine mistake you can't blame them. not that i'm defending anyone, they all deserve to be hung by the balls and have their vital organs removed with a rusty spoon over a period of three months.
