  1. If you can't find the natc rounds on mavtv, go to http://www.trialstrainingcenter.com/. Half way down the page there are instructions on how to search for the natc events.
  2. True, but you can still install a few things to keep it as perfect as the first day like header pipe guards, handle bar end caps, etc. Also, you can set it more to your liking with grips, handle bar bends, suspension, etc.
  3. I totally agree with you. However, the ama has done nothing to keep areas open around here, but they sure put their hand out to collect our money. I support corva and the brc. What good is motorcycle insurance if I have no place to ride ?
  4. I'm not sure this is a good idea. This race is special because of the tough obstacles. Most fans go there to watch riders negotiate an insane track. If it becomes a supercross race without the big jumps, I definitely wouldn't be interested. Maybe class limits is the answer. It would not be as good as having just one class, but at least it would still be entertaining to see the riders race through big obstacles. Video of the 2007 Oklahoma endurocross final:
  5. Unfortunately, I can't really answer your question since I've had my 2007 TXT Pro 300 for about 3 days. I've only ridden it on the street and all I can say is that is feels sooo much better than my 2002 315r. I had the same apprehension you have about the Gasgas, some people swear by them, others say is junk, so I decided to find out by myself.
  6. I like this one the best. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...52&hl=en-GB
  7. I think you're right. The little screw must be the air bleed screw. This screw sits in the center of an allen hole which when turned goes in or out withing the fork cap, thus changing the spring pre-load. It all makes sense now.
  8. I'm replacing the left fork seal on my 2002 315r due to a slight leak. I noticed before I loosened the fork cap, that the spring pre-load adjuster turned but didn't click. I took the cap apart, cleaned it very well with brake cleaner and I still can't get it to click. It worked fine last time I adjusted the pre-load. Any ideas on what could be wrong ? Also, I can't see how the adjuster affects the spring pre-load, unless there's an oil valve inside the cap. How is the adjuster supposed to work ?
  9. I also have the same problem, specially my right ankle. I decided to wear MX boots for the excellent ankle support. I'm not afraid to dab anywhere anymore and my ankles seem to like them the best. I don't notice much of a difference when riding but walking is a different story.
  10. I also thought about getting the laser surgery done. However, I decided against it when the doctor told me that it won't last forever since at my age (44) the eyes will change and I'll need glasses again in a few years. I'm wearing contact lenses with great success. I agree glasses suck.
  11. They could do what motocross promoters do. When I raced motocross (at the local level) most promoters had a pro class. The difference of the pro class was that the top finishers got cash instead of a $3 plastic trophy. Anyone could enter the pro class (no license required), but it was the most competitive. My understanding was that the cash awarded was a percentage of the entries in the pro class. At $30 per entry, a gate with 30 - 40 riders would net $900 - $1200. The promoter would take a percentage, and the rest would be divided between the top finishers, no need for sponsors or outside money. At some events only a hand full of riders would enter the pro class, but still not a bad deal to get paid for having fun. PS: I still have the $100 check I ever earned racing. Never cashed it.
