0.3 in the back and 0.4 in the front, you can go a little lower if its really slippery, but then you gotta watch out for sharp edges etc.
  2. Not trying to sound rude, but doing a stoppie is all about technique, not suspension settings. My buest guess is that the Raga replica bike has better/less worn pads, thus making stoppies easier. Spend time learning the proper technique, it will pay off later.
  3. One more Beta
  4. i have experienced this with my beta, first we thought it was the plug but then realized that iwt was the wood ruff key.

When youre changing your chain, its always a good idea the change the sprockets at the same time. I have never even used the first gear in my beta, it is way too short and not good for anything. I dont think that the second gear is too big for you, just need to use the clutch more and you will have better traction.
  6. Try supload.com, you can upload as many pictures as you want for free. Thanks to made2own hosting
  7. Now I have renthal handlebars and a new swingarm
  8. the thing is, that when there is a section with a river or something, you have someone else step in there to see how deep it is, and only then ride it Last weekend we had at least 5 sections that crossed the river, my boots were dry but my dads weren't for some reason...
  9. Im using motocross pants right now, but they are way too hot now during the summer. My shin guards are always soaking wet and its impossible to get the pants off after a good 3 hour riding session Trying to find some nice trials riding gear, i dont like the super tight ones that look like full-body stockings, but ive only seen ones that are red and have "MONTESA" printed all over them, cant ride a beta with them Does anyone know of a website that sells trial clothing that would possibly suit my -03 beta (the yellow kind) that has proper ventilation?

thank you! thats exactly what i thought a splatter was... now...whats the "punch technique" ?
  11. nbuu posted a topic in General Trials Talk
We are currenlty translating a trials guide into Finnish, and we are struggling with "punch technique" and "splatter technique". Someone...please explain briefly what they are, this way I will be able to translate them properly
  12. Hello all! ive heard only positive comments of the RYP instructional video and I would really like to order it, but the problem is that I live in Finland and havent seen it here. If its possible, where should i order it from, and about how much for shipping it over here? -antti
