Not trying to sound rude, but doing a stoppie is all about technique, not suspension settings. My buest guess is that the Raga replica bike has better/less worn pads, thus making stoppies easier. Spend time learning the proper technique, it will pay off later.

i have experienced this with my beta, first we thought it was the plug but then realized that iwt was the wood ruff key.

When youre changing your chain, its always a good idea the change the sprockets at the same time. I have never even used the first gear in my beta, it is way too short and not good for anything. I dont think that the second gear is too big for you, just need to use the clutch more and you will have better traction.
