  1. The question is, is the USA having the World Rounds next year? A few spots are open.
  2. All this west coast talk, seems to me... the last three overall winners have come from the east side of the Mississippi river.
  3. Can anyone offer the time and distance from these locations? G.P.France Valdeblore to G.P.Andorra Sant Juli
  4. So... we have Louise Forsley as the 2004 AMA/NATC Youth National Champion. This is the same AMA/NATC Youth National Championship that has bred such champions as 2002 winner Will Ibsen and 2003 winner Patrick Smage. All three by the way are members of Ryan Young Products/Team Sherco. Now...Here is the confusing part... Does the current Youth National Champion Louise Forsley have to compete and win in the three day donner youth national championship new this year in August to become the overall Youth Champion? Or are we going to have a east of the Mississippi river winner and a west of the Mississippi river winner?
  5. All this hype? What happened, the news dried up. Is everyone upset a girl was beating them so no one wants to publish this?
  6. Could Louise Forsley be the 2004 Youth National Champion?
  7. 10 cleans and 17 points for Raga. Must a had 3 fives?
  8. Whoever it is, keep the reports coming, if you want to get front page news, I'm sure Andy would put the photos up if you send it to him?

And how far would you have had to walk back home Gary? Win or walk. Maybe that is a tactic I should try?
  10. Isn't this a one day event, not two? I don't think this event is the make or break, but Dougie really does need a win to get back some points.
  11. Ringo, Like the perfect tabloid editor, take just enough words to make the story interesting.
  12. Hey Griff, You did a great job on the world round site again this year, "way to go", and another "way to go" in being Johnny on the spot along with Darrell to nab such a key part of the trials. That's what I was talking about when I raised this tread about the section 12 call in Japan, this subject should have it's own thread titled Section 3 observer Duluth 04. If Fugi were to have gotten a 5 instead of the 2 Dougie would have won by one dab. And these were paid observers, making good money to observe an international event. That's two events that observing cause Dougie a win.
  13. These observers were paid well for working this event. I took heat from one group of observers I knew who I felt were not in the best position to cover the section and all it's quarks. They still are mad at me for the comment, I told them "it's like you guys are stealing the money." If you have four observers at a section, it serves no purpose to have two standing at the beginning of the section and two standing at the end of the section.
  14. The attendance for friday's practice was 1000 people. The attendance for the first round on Saturday was 2000. folks, who braved the elements. Weather is hot and sun, perfect weather.
  15. With my pick for today, I want sun tomorrow, last time I call for rain.
  16. Weather in Duluth is perfect, sitting on top of the hill and the wireless works great, Thursday practice photos coming.
  17. The forecast has rain and thunderstorms for Saturday.
  18. From what I saw at Colorado the Pro class sections were equal to those at a world round. Looking at the rider list, a question comes to mind. How in the world will Ray Peters handle the world round sections when he had such a difficult time on the sections at Colorado? Did Ray bite off more than he can chew?
  19. Quick results Aaron again, Ray Peters takes first place..... in Expert Class with five dabs and yes Christy got Kerry today.
  20. Ringo, I'm in Salida, got your message, everything is going to be taken care of. Will keep everyone posted on results tomorrow.
  21. Team Wisconsin is packing as we speak. Will be taking the camera and laptop. I will have results and photos posted here or on the main page Saturday night.
  22. four so far entered. David Chavez (Sherco): guest class Chris Florin (Montesa): World Championship class Travis Fox (Sherco): guest class Cody Webb (Gas Gas): 125cc class
  23. He told me he is in a no-win situation when it comes to this matter. Anyhow... he is doing his part at the World Round. Anyone for Grandma's on Thursday? http://worldroundusa.com/2004_05_01_archiv...486222251392390
  24. Was the observer the only one to see Lampkin disrupt a section marker at section 12's first loop on Sunday? Did anyone get photos? Was this a home field call for Fugi-Gas or was the observer & ?
