  1. That's funny, but soooo true!
  2. Is this a district AMA sactioned event? It shouldn't matter what age he is, a win is a win. Our club is blessed to have very talented young riders, all who compete hard and respect the winner, any age, any class. Brad Villand has been our number one guy for a few years, yet the last two he hasn't competed a full season, this opened the door for Patrick and Phillip Smage. Do the older guys get upset when the kids win, I would guess maybe, I know I did when Phillip and Patrick beat me for the first time. Does our club keep them from recieving what they earned, NO!
  3. I want to change my vote to the tank.
  4. 8 time AMA/NATC Champion: Geoff Aaron! 1. Geoff Aaron 51 2. Ryon Bell 55 3. Cody Webb 60 10. Sean Bird, moves to Pro Class. Expert 1. Ray Peters 19 2. Keith Wineland 35 3. Patrick Smage 101 14 year old Patrick Smage moves to Expert, finishes third! Looks as if the experts rode all 15 sections. Excellent season. Geoff Aaron, still, North America's best!
  5. Any chance TC can get some of those cool fujigas championship t-shirts to sell, I will take one!
  6. First National win for Chris Florin. Chris Florin 62.5 Geoff Aaron 76 Brent leRichie 77 Cody Webb 81 Patrick Smage first again, and his father Noel was second in EXSP. Way to go, Chris Florin and the Smages.
  7. Got no news out of Vermont yet. I heard the trialsmasters wanted to have Geoff score at least 50 points, let's see some results.
  8. So far this event looks to taking some on the riders, Shaun Morris and Ben Hemingway retired?
  9. Nothing says trials like a little rain, lightning and thunder. Geoff Aaron is going to have to make room in his trophy case for another title. Chris Florin, Ryon Bell, leRiches bros, Bruce and Brent and Mr. Cody Webb really turned up the heat though. Wilson Craig wasn't around, I asked, was told his back is injured. Depending on how the Canadian champ Sean Bird finishes the season, Ray Peters may have the Expert title. Lot's of old pros invaded this class mid-season. Fellow Illinois resident Jesse Wellenstein had a great ride on Sunday finishing second, and Phillip Smage who I minded for finished 6th Sunday, on a really sore, cut and swollen right hand by the way. This was caused by a spectacular crash on the second loop, third section on Saturday, just after Jesse did the same crash routine at the same place. Expert/Sportsman now has the youngest champion Patrick Smage, the NATC/AMA needs to fix the current standings sheet, they have my little buddy listed twice, once as Pat and one as Patrick. Special City Trials notes goes to Andy Bowman. Andy scored two wins this weekend in the High School class, with insane scores, under 5 dabs, both days. Time to move up Andy!
  10. All of this.... over a hundred bucks?
  11. I tried to get into the forum or discussion on the board you have but all it let's me do is post a email comment. I would like to hear from Mr. Craig for some insights to what he believes is behind this? I started a thread on trialscomp also on this matter. Steve, I believe you are doing the right thing, raising awareness and debate on a corrupt process.
  12. What a joke. The riders did the right thing in support of Wilson.
  13. Alan, This may not be Cycle News stuff, but it is excellent reading. The way you write makes me seem as I just found your personal journal you may have lost on the adverturous trail you travel? I took a serious re-read on Dean's struggles. Kids aren't that different from adults when it comes to poor additude. This weekend I experienced a case of this ugly sickness. Sour moments during an event can work two ways, you corrected the matter, I wasn't as composed. In Chicago, we have a huge problem with our youth, at least half of our population is low income, single parents, the kids have no role models other that the local gangbang drug-dealers. 1/3 drop out of school, 12% wind up in prison. All because parents don't take an active role in their childrens life. Dean, Christina and Amy are blessed to have a father who is so active in their life, we are blessed you choose to share these experiences with us. Thanks!
  14. Your memory stick or card has alot to do with this also. I recomend a 256mb or a 512 mb, they read the image much faster. All other cards are slow, slow slow.
  15. Full story on the Honda link. http://world.honda.com/WCT/2004/0725.html
  16. Seems Raga protested the event because he moved a rock and was called for a five. Even after the officials up-held the call, he still wasn't happy. He didn't show up to the Press Confrence still miffed at why he didn't get a home field call.
  17. What were others thought's who saw U.S.A's Gas/Gas trials pilot, Cody Webb in Spain? For those who saw him in person this weekend and took photos, may I see the photos. Email them to. craiggernhardt@comcast.net
  18. Great job today Cody, you made this american very proud. next stop..... the podium... ?
  19. Just see the winners of each class posted ish, where's the rest? Cody 4th out of 9? Can this be real? If true, this is a huge victory for the United States in my eyes.
  20. No first loops scores yet, should be about time now?
  21. 108 people read this and not one has the answer?
  22. These are the current 125 cc youth leaders. Why does the FIM site have them riding a larger cc bike and all others have 125 cc listed? Gibert, Daniel - Youth 125cc Gas Gas SPA 249cc Oliveras Daniel - Youth 125cc Gas Gas SPA 280cc
  23. Here is a possible student for the RYP Trials School? http://quadrajet.smugmug.com/gallery/168501/2/6314775
  24. A United States rider, Gas/Gas-AXO sponsored Cody Webb from California will be competeing in the next World Round Championships in Spain. With three rounds left, Cody Webb is positioned in 7th place. I believe all of the United States trials fans are behind you, I know I am. Good luck Cody.
