For business yes, some may need a short term loans to keep afloat, it does'nt have to be this way for joe public, hand on my heart i can say i have no debt, my rent gets paid each month without bashing the credit card for it, my cards get paid each month without bashing another card for it and what material items i own were all paid for with cash on the day.
Im clearly doing something wrong.
Also in the last 14 years a lot of people have left a company to set there own business up probaly with the help of a massive loan/house on the line but hey not every artist has a business head some will survive some will not.
Im not all that concerned what there doing up top to them its just paper shuffling a game, theres still members of public out there with plenty of money to spend, business just needs to find diffrent ways of helping them spend it , people will go up and some go down nothing new there then.
-
Happy Christmas.
Im sure we all have diffrent views how we're run in this country, my views has kept me out of debt whilst others will die in debt (Owned), no bugger is will or ever going to own me like that.
What is debt, its control.

Its abit more interesting than that addict, The queen runs the country, her government just does what she tells them to, ever wondered why none of our previous governments took us into the euro single currency well she was the reason why not, queen is a very major shareholder of the BOE she would of taken us to war before giving that up.

I've just checked he's site on this, it might be worth adding that the bearings come with new bushes which as anyone with a 242/330 will know new bushes are very difficult to find, the sets this guy is selling are very reasonably priced.
Shame this did'nt come up a couple of weeks earlier when i replaced my bearings as i would of bought the set even though my bushes are ok, never mind its good to know peolpe are manufacturing this stuff for us.

I would imagine we all get your point there, The pre 16 year olds you can mould but as soon as there 16 other things come along such as Road bikes, girls, new friends, nightclubs, and more importantly going away to learn a trade that pays real money for later in life.
The above certainly happened for me, 19 years later i return to trials, i can count on one hand the names i still reconise in todays results that i used to ride with as a kid, where are the rest.
My return look at trials after the 19 years i thought what a mess.
If the youngsters want to ride stop then why hav'nt they broken away to set up there own clubs, have there own social times with each other, after all a 16 year old would'nt want to go night clubbing with a 40 year old.

This might help you a little

Ha ha ha, ok i know i should'nt of added the Great Britain bit, what i should have said is, it was the right thing to do for anybody living south of the Watford Gap.
-
Very true.
Thats what cameron told the EU countries last friday and that went down like a bag of crap aswell, but it was the right thing to do for the Great Britain. .
-
So the club f****d up tell them about it, ****.
-
Most probaly.
The Banks like to own people and Labour thought they was doing a good job .
-
To be fair cracks were starting to show coming into 2006/2007.
Why do you think Blair legged it and left brown holding the baby, That bugger knew exactly what was coming.
-
Exactly the point i was trying to make, im no better off or worse off in 2011 than i was 10 years ago and inbetween.
It was only 5 years ago Britain made there last payment of debt to the USA for WW2.
As my accountant tells me once a year "If you can pay your bills your doing well".
-
We're not in the same place as some of the Euro countries, However no doubt UK banks are tied up in Europe, i think Airwave has covered that subject.
-
If your friend lived in devon and had his own van i could get him work tommorrow delivering parcels 6 days a week if he wants, the jobs hard graft and poorly paid but it will pay his bills.
Incidently its poor paid because companies expect courier companies deliver there goods for nothing.
-
Theres alot of depressed people about yes, its a good bet its down to the dotted line of debt (extremely high mortgage) they signed there name to 8 years ago.
-
The recession isnt as bad as all that, ok if business isnt prepared to change the way they work then there go down, i guess the last 12 years has made business lazy as money has pretty much landed in there laps, even during the last 12 years businessses have gone bust, so no big change there.
The same applies to joe public.
Theres certainly plenty of jobs out there it all depends how lazy and unwilling one is prepared to adjust to something new.
The UK is actually on very solid ground for the future.

Kickstart was'nt to blame for what we have now, the curiousity of what someone could do with a trial bike would have come sooner or later, the biggest mistake we made in the 80's was not drawing a line in the sand and saying this is how we ride arena trials and this is how we ride traditional trials, this never happened and this is why we have a problem today, hopefully the ACU/importers have at last reconised this fact and can successfully split the 2 and start working on separate economies that this will bring.
Trials must be the only off road motorcycle sport that hasnt successfully been able to make 2 separate economies from arena and outdoor.
Maybe back in the 80's we were too far ahead of our time and nobody saw we could of had 2x wealth.
-
It is starting to read that there may be a full on assualt on trying to promote the trial, and as usual the opportunity will be missed
becuase of inbred fighting.
Hey, this rule change surprised everybody, the decision must of been talked about for months, how many other secrets are coming, it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
Also the ACU hav'nt written the stop rule out of the book, so this can still be practiced somewhere.
-
Don't worry to much OTF, we have modern day youngsters involved so we're going to have a certain amount of sulking going on, this sulking could last a year and beyond.
-
Very true
The modern bike manufacturers and Importers don't make much money out of it if any, this must niggle the hell out of them.
The importers only need to lose 20 riders a year that used to buy a new bike every year, well thats aload of dosh to lose.
-
Snooker has the right idea, the ratings went well down on the conventional game so the officials decided to make an effort to try and fix it by creating power snooker, a much faster and flowing game, its a more exciting game to watch.
If the game did'nt have the rocket, the conventional game of snooker would of died off in the mainstream some years ago.
-
Pie n mash, then Mcdonalds came over and out dated Pie n mash, guess which one is the most healthiest for you.

This sounds promising, i will have to go along and have a watch when the BTC comes to my area, The venues only 30 mins from where i live but never been bothered with it whilst its been under stop rule.
Something to look forward to for 2012.
