It belongs to my mates dad and all we know is its a TLR200 (not even sure on the year) but is it any specific variant of the TLR or is it just a standard Honda?
Cheers!
Im very interested, I love looking at the factory bikes in all motorcycle sports! I got a soft spot for anything that is/looks trick!
Cant wait to have a butchers at some of the top lads bikes at Hawkstone!
Just noticed in TMX that James Dabills bike is looking a bit trick with his black fork clamps and black barrel. Are there any clearer pics of his bike anywhere??
I ended up using cif (cheers bikespace) and a washing up type scouring pad thingy! Made a fantastic difference, its white again
Only thing that lets it down is the seat has faded from the flourecent yellow to a dull yellow colour! Oh well you canr win em all
Thanks again guys!!!
Ok I am trying to clean up an old K-Roo Fantic and I was just wondering what methods you guy use to clean up the old unpainted white mudguards that this bike and many other Fantics had? Its the big rear guard/seat panel and I would like to get it something like white again
Cheers guys for any tips
Hmm the Optimax is a higher octaine. If you cant get higher octaine fuel maybe you should try some Octaine boost? Silkoline make it but I can not help you with how much you need to add, I have never used it! Maybe the others can advise you on whether or not this is a good idea??
I have an 01 TXT also (280) and as BS says its probably just the fuel you are using. Mine knocks too and so does my mates (same bike) when I use normal unleaded but now Im on Shell Optimax and although it has'nt completely gone it is stacks better!
Take BS's advice and get some higher octane fuel!
I asked a similar question to you but about the 05 model and the general response was the 200 is a great little bike that is very capable! Im not sure of any problems however? I guess its the same as any other bike in that if you look after it you should be ok!
Hmmm it seems Fantic are having a tough time on the 250 GP circuit at the mo! Im sure more time is needed for them to sort the bike fully tho and become more competetive. I wonder however if they will turn their attention to trials again soon as they may find it easier to compete?
Whadaya think?
Toofasttim mentioned Charlie Dementhiue (sp?) in another thread and I was wondering if there was anywhere on the net or otherwise I could obtain his anuals?
Does anyone know of anywhere?
Cheers!
The only brand new trial bike I ever bought was an Aprilia Climber back in 93. Noticed it was'nt on the list
I had no problems at all! They dont make em like they used to
This is not intended to start a war but how does the Sherco build quality compare to the Gasser? The only reason I ask is cos I am thinking about buying a new bike this year and from what I have just read Im a little warey of the Pro's now??
Ooh yeah and how about the Betas?? Oh too many choices!!
