I seem to remember Paul Rose riding the first Pro 200 and he was cleaning up! Thing is he is a bit smaller than me! Hmmm I wonder where I can get to have a go on one??
Well I have had a few 250's (different makes) and at the mo Im on a 280 gasser but I like the smaller bikes as they are smoother, lighter and still have enough power to do what I need! I just wondered what people thought of the 200 Pro cos its more affordable for me if I am to get a new bike!
Can anyone tell me where I can find photos of the 1991 WTC on the internet? In particular Diego Bosis and Bruno Camozzi on the Fantics? Or some good pics of their bikes?
Cheers!
Thinking of upgrading to a newer machine and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the 200Pro? I had the 99 TXT 200 a while ago and that was pretty good but I just wondered how the Pro's compare? I am also considering the 250 but is the price difference worth it?
Cheers for any advice!
Its really difficult to say! Your best off looking for ads of the same bike to gauge what its worth, if you are part exing tho just take it to the shop and see what they offer you!
Although I dont own one (yet) I have always liked the Mont 315r and especially those funky green/purple forks. Anyway I noticed the new 4RT doesnt have them but has black forks instead yet (correct me if I am wrong) dont DL and Fuji still use the greeny purple ones??
Trivial I know but does anyone know why the production bikes stopped using them?
No you would not need to premix your fuel it would run on neat! The reason you premix is so that the oil in your fuel lubricates the big end etc as it passes it. With a FI 2 stroke you could somehow make the big end run in its own oil and inject neat petrol into the combustion chamber therefore cleaning up the emitions!
I thought Gas Gas had played with this idea as well a couple of years ago???
Cheers O.A.S Im a big fan of the idea of FI 2 strokes! Im hoping some of the MX manufacturers will consider this option too instead of them all going 4 stroke!
I just use MX gloves, at the mo i Have some Shift Air Strike which are nice and thin and seem to be fine! I have also had Axo and Fox which were also very good but the Shift were the cheapest, I think they were about
