What are woods used for in the first place?.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Chav pad

Complete Sherco brake lever, Montesa spacers and mounting bolt, the bearing size is the same but the Mont spacers are wider, use the Mont spacer's to fit it on the Mont.

Only one bugger I can think of that needs locking up each night.
Just counceling for you Lane.
You certainly do!! heed your own words and go seek it.
Well since no bugger at Mich central gives a toss what you write, I'll see how far I can go before they ban me
-
I think the same can be said for the majority over here, they enjoy watching who ever.
If the majority felt the sole purpose of trials in the states was to create a world champ, then I dare say the system would be arranged round that.
-
The best riders would be the winners has they still would be the most desirable outside sponsor prospect and obviously earn the most points, but the sport would have more of a level playing field.
Minders, do the FIM stop a rider from competing in a world championship if he doesn't have one ? if thier concern was safety then they would.
-
Not enough incentive for young riders to consider contesting world rounds?.
No factory rider contracts.
No factory teams.
No works bikes.
Factories reach an agreement with FIM on fixed flat rate price a world round point is worth.
The championship is a true production model championship with personal tuneing permitted.
Flat rate fee is given for every world round point earned, the best will earn the most as now, but the incentive to ride for $$ is there for the lower ranked rider.
And burn all bibs other than the riders bib
The factories were complaining it's too expensive to ship the circus all round the world, all they would have to ship is the factory rep with the check/cheque book, the stock bikes are there anyway.
Each rider would have an equal chance at earning the same rewards, and the factories would have more $$ to give hqving saved a fortune on contracts and expenses.

So WTF are you lot giving the US riders greif about something that is for the most part not viable to them.
Only option was taken by Bernie, and proved, if you can't beat them, join them.
No need to do bugger all this side of the pond.

Very cool photo by Mario, clicky

I didn't think the question was a topic stopper.
-
So I have a question for the Europeans, if most the rounds were held on the American continent, and one round each in Europe and Japan, could you afford to travel to them all? if not what would you do.
-
What are you talking about, quite a few what ishy? You weren't even there this weekend. Let's take a look see, the last world round at Donner was in 1997. Lampkin, Fugi, Aaron, Peters and Sweeten were the only one's who rode that event and were at Donner. Is that the few you were talking about? That hardly makes a consensus.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
You have no clue what your on about, so I suggest you shut the **** up
-
The west coast youth nationals are there this summer, so the site must still be used for trials.
-
I read the same post Al, first thing I thought is two rider champ class.
I think some are missing the point, that the technical side of riding is letting the US riders down.
There are two types of hard section, one takes threes of the majority and the perfect ride gets a clean, the other stops the majority dead and the perfect ride gets up the silly step.
-
Heared from quite a few people this week, the world round teams keep asking when are they going to run another world round at Donner pass, seems like it was very popular with them.
At the James Lampkin trials school, someone asked James, which was the best US world round he had attended in the US, "Donner"
Come on PIT'S by popular demand, they are wanting the mega big dry stuff.
-
I think Copemech was just having a laugh, but you lot are taking this way too serious, how many of those lad's riding this past weekend could of beaten Jarvis at that event? why wasn't he there? because there is sweet FA in it that's why.
The bike sales don't produce enough to fund big sponsorship, the public sponsor doesn't want to fund it, because! in reality the public don't give a toss about trials.
How has the sport increased over the past 30 years since the first WC event.
At the current rate of decline in five years there won't be a world championship, might be a good thing too.
-
-
Two bigger factors than the machine capacity here in the US, the time the riders spend togeather practicing/competeing, and the type of section that they layout over here.
Maybe they are quite happy doing what they are doing, and who are we! to say it's right or wrong.
I have noticed on quite a few other posts, how quick some are to point out how far behind they think the US riders are, nice job on supporting the few who are out there giving a try while your sat on your big fat arses doing nowt.
-
Oooooooooo the sock down the pant's didn't work, I wonder if the live snake will.
-
Laia, was correctly yellow carded in the US, was she carded at Hawkstone ? the yellow card is for this reason and used correctly, will stop riders argueing.
My dig is at the pot calling the kettle black.
-
That's a fine statement coming from you!!
I wouldn't let you in the gate, never mind give you a press bib.
-
In the past European riders would travel to the US as it was a good place to collect some world championship points.
This year I see only ten riders in the class, and quite a few world championship points not claimed.
-
Best of luck this weekend, Doug, James, Mart, good first lap lad.
