Queue Jumping = Cheating... Simple!
I am against people que jumping. But I dont Always jump to conclusions when I see someone do it. I have had it were something has gone wrong with the Bike and it has lost me a lot of time and the sections closed at a certain time so for one lap I have asked at sections if I can go in front so I can make up time and still finish. Obveusly poeple at the back of the que wount be able to hear me ask that and may jump to the conclusion that I was some youth been disrespectful. So if i see someone else I dont striaght away asume the worst any more. If they are seen doing it at a few club trials every other weekend though they will be told! Would also like to agree on the making friends in ques, I have slowly got to know near enough everyone envolved with trials in my local area just by chatting in ques. There is always a lot of banter had whilst walking sections and in ques so the poeple who choose to fly round and miss that then its there own fault!

Hi, Just wanted to make a suggestion on the pictures on the site. If you re-size them they will load quicker for people to see. I don't mean to be picky just wanting to help you. Mike.

Advice on the scott 2011
HI, I rode the scott for the first time last year. Best advice I can give is don't under estimate it! Any sort of puncture repair is good to take with you. Spare levers and even a front inner tube. The front tube is best as it will fit in both wheels. I raised the handle bars on my bike to help stop lower back pains on the moors. other than that I left the bike as standerd. Hope this helps a little bit, See you there!

Finger on front brake?
I also ride with my finger over the front brake, I did try not to do it once thinking it might give me better throttle control. I ended up all over the place haha. I personaly also much prefer To cover the brake to keep control.

Lower Back Pain
Hi, I get lower back pain when doing long distance trials over moorland. A friend said that the getting the raised fatbar clamps can help this. If this is true wich are the best ones to get ? I have entered the scott this year so I am trying to be as fit as possible, this is my main problem so if you could help that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Suspension
Yer i had read somewere about the false shift thing in the gear box. I dont think i will suffer to much from that though i tend to select a gear and stick with it through the section. Do you know anything about keihans at all?? i had mine set up for my 250cc just wonderd if its hard to change it for the 290cc ? Back the suspension i would look every now and again on ebay for an ohlins goin cheapish because they are ment to be fantastic Thanks for the review on the 290 Mike

Suspension
Hi I usualy leave mine as standard, But my friend has just been playing around with his rear shock and has found it to be alot better this is on a 06 290cc sherco rather than a brand new one. I think all he did was tighten it a bit more before we went out for a practice and he said it deffernatly made a difference. What do you think to the new 290 as a bike if you don't mind me asking? i have a 250 09 at the mo and lookin into getting a new one and was debating about the 290. Mike.

Re-jetting A Kiehan
Hi My Kiehan at the moment has the jets for my 250cc Sherco, i was thinking about getting a 290 this time. Do i need to change the jets at all when i go from a 250 to a 290? and if so is it an easy job and does it cost much ? Also has anyone rode both the new 250cc and the 290cc sherco's and which do you think would be best to get? Thanks everyone Mike

Not Ticking Over Properly
i had used this door seal stuff inbetween the fuel tap and the tank itself because it had to began to leak. the petrol had eaten through that and the stickey stuff on the door seal got into the carb and was blocking the fuel flow. i found some of it sat in the bottom of the float bath. thanks for your help guys

Not Ticking Over Properly
Hi I have a sherco 09 250cc and i have fittted a kiehen carb to it. The kiehen has been running fine on it i love it but all of a sudden i can not get the bike to tick over properly it slowly dies asif there is no fuel. If i put the chock on it starts to tick over normally. I have cleaned the carb out and also adjusted the air screw and mixture screw and still no luck. If you have any advice or an idea on how to fix the proplem it would be much appreciated Thank you
