Italian test of new Ossa

Featured Replies

For Gawds sake can some English speaker do a write up on this thing 'cos the babelfish translation is worse than 5h1t.

Looks as if the new Ossa is being tested in Italy, see report from http://www.mototrial.it/

Great pictures going off there - good job 'cause my Italiano is poor !

Bike looks really technical, hope for their sake it can deal with being immersed in glugg ! :)

And not an upside down fork in sight.

Don't know ift his google translation is any better, seems to make some sense anyway!

The bike looks good though, would be interesting to get a ride when they arrive.

I see the carbon fibre (OSSA) sticker on the LH down tube has already starting peeling off...... Other than that it looks fantastic!

Am I the only one concerned about this thing catching fire or setting fire to the surroundings? In 2008 a few large fires were started on the SSDT with burning peat falling off the front pipe of some bikes. A mate of mine saw one start. This is surely going to be much worse with the pipe being covered by a lot more off the rear wheel. I'd put money on one of these catching fire within the first few months. Other than that though I do like the look and fancy trying one.

Probably just me but I like the way Google translates 'OSSA' as 'Bones' in the article.

I understand BVM are hoping to have one at there test day 11th nov 2010

Am curious to see the air filter layout - maybe the next test will unveil whats underneath the cover.

I was impressed with the seemingly large size of the clutch and transmission clusters in the pics - looks durable.

I believe that Nigel Birkett is pushing for one to arrive in the UK for that very day.

I reckon heat will be an issue somewhere down the line as the rad is sat behind the petrol tank and above the cylinder. The rear shock from what i can tell seems wrapped around by the exhaust.
