Frame can cost more than a trials bike,10 or more years ago a workmate came back from riding & working for Foes in the states with a bike that was conservatively valued at $10k NZ but they reckoned real cost would be closer to twice that, mind you there were only 2 of those frames in existence at the time. Forks cost that much that he had to send them back when the season was over You'd probably be able to buy 2 monts for the price 1 of the bikes used by the top guys
March 11, 201115 yr Greg Minaars Honda on which he won the world downhill MTB championship: Stunning bike, would of done anything for one of those. Shame they left the sport and never made a production version. Think Brendan Fairclough rode one as well.
