ham2 Posted September 26, 2012 Report Share Posted September 26, 2012 My guess is; Beta were limited by their engine design i.e they were lumbered with an engine that rotated the 'wrong' way which decreed which side the drive sprocket would appear thus dictating where the chain would run? Just a thought Thats not a bad theory... My friend has one and he just happened to say to me tonight "any idea why Beta put the chain on the opposite side". But I am also am one of the unlucky ones who have put the whole kickstarter in my leg!! ( It only blead a whole month) The best thought out engine ever was the Fantic. " I've started mine feetup after a stall in a section at least once I can remember , any other bike and I would of 5'd ...
