I'm really glad I found trials and this is why... Here's my list! Please add to it, ok?!?

Trials is great exercise!

Outdoors, and fresh air!

No one cares if you're terrible!

Immensely challenging!

Can practice engine on or off!

Bikes (arguably) can run forever!

Events are cheap to enter!

Trials folks are friendly!

Can do trials in any climate!

Way safer than most (all?) other forms of motorcycling!

I feel lucky to have found trials and all of you on TC, Happy Holidays all

You learn to compete in all extreams of weather, good and bad.

learn how an engine works.

Always makes me laugh when your mate says ' I can do that it's easy ' and he ends up with a mouth full of cow poo and mud !!!Sometimes I think my pants will never dry !!

you can ride across silly cambers and stupidly steep hills and go places other types of motorcycles can't

well said five brick ! 52 years old , started when 13 and still cant get enough of it , happy days

I really like the comradery in the sport, it's more a battle with your own, as opposed to other competitors.

Most riders are glad to help out with advice when one makes a mistake, or is a bit unsure how to take the next hazard.

Almost as good as "hold my beer and watch this" .

I guess we should add that trials riders have a good sense of humor - are quick to laugh at themselves - and anyone else who is crazy enough to enjoy the sport
