Need Help..... Bike Identification

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if this bike is still around and if so who owns it?

I'd like to ask them a few questions, I have a cunning plan.....

Charlie, hope you don't mind, I took it from your excellent website, I owe you a beer :-)

woow deep, but aint got a clue what it means. Are you by any chance in politics?

Unfortunately it's probably no longer around, at least not in that guise. A lot of these old bikes are getting chopped about and spoilt to make them more competetive for 'modern' pre 65 trials.

Thanks, do you think the frame is from a donor bike or one off? Looks like from a donor bike I think.

I may be wrong, but it may be matt chambers of xblox.

His cub changed on a monthly basis I remember it with discs & yam bits on it

Well, I took that photo at the Reeth 3 day 2003.

More here.

Rider is listed as John Collinson no 81 , managed two days.

Hi Guy's.

Thanks hrc1,

I just could not remember Merlin.  Deryk and I seem to be suffering the same.

I hope you do not mind me using the photo, on my site ?

I will now give you the cortices for the shot.

Interesting bike I must say.

Regards Charlie.

Thanks, I'm getting there, would really like to know more about the frame. Even stumped the BVM boys this morning.

Hardly a pre65 bike so no worries about it being chopped around !

Was looking through these pics and recognised my own bike. Number 6 is my AJS as it was when Teflon Don owned it. Thanks for posting them up ! There are several other bikes I recognise in there too - good stuff.
