January 15, 20188 yr What fork seals are you guys using? My mate said he had a set of pyramid seals fitted and they lasted 4 rides ? I think I had all balls ones fitted in my last bike but sold the bike not long after fitting so don’t really know how good they were?

January 16, 20188 yr How long seals last can be caused by many things. Correct oil level. Bushings in spec. Seals being nipped during installation. Riding muddy events. And just bad luck. There are a lot of seals on the market, but usually the stock seals last the longest.
January 16, 20188 yr Early 260 monts with the black tech forks devoured seals . I found the only ones that worked were the green skf ones .A bit pricey but solved the issue .
January 17, 20188 yr Try one of these before you spend any more time and money on new seals. http://sealmate.net/ Best £6 I've spent on garage equipment - works every time. Edited January 17, 20188 yr by davidbaker typo
January 17, 20188 yr Pretty hard to beat the SKF, seem pricey but kit includes stainless clip, Wiper seal and oil seal.
April 20, 20188 yr I intend to use OE seals when mine need doing, after all the originals are still fine after 16 months so any replacements should last just as well.
