I'M ON THE LOOKOUT FOR AN OWNERS MANUAL FOR '93 TYZ 250,been looking worldwide on ebay but it looks like they are rare.can anybody help plz.CHEERS

Hey All,. I just rescued what I thought was a 74 ish ty 250 to clean up and resale. The more I looked at it I thought the wheel base was a little long it measures 50 inches from the lower front shock mount to the lower rear shock mount. That is 2 inches longer than my other 74 ty 250 I bought new. Everything else on the bike is exactly like my ty 250 except the angle of the front steering tower. I'm curious if the vin number might tell me something if anyone can help it is 434-008998. THanks for any info. Jbird

Hi, does anybody know where I might be able to buy a replacement Whitehawk 175 seat cover . The original ones had a black seat surround with a red quilted centre . Many thanks , Richard

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but... What's the deal with the frankenstein yamaha that #2 is riding in Japan? It's clearly a factory bike (or at least a factory sponsored bike), but obviously they don't sell whatever this is in the west (and I suspect not in Japan either, but not sure). Why does Yamaha want to run a one-off bike?

Hi there, has anyone tryed a Yz 125 Clutchcase on a TY 175 or a Yz 250 Clutchcase on a TY 250.It must be the aircooled yz modell from 1976-1978.They look nice,because they have no oilpumpcover.Anyone got an idea. Chrs:Mike

Hi, Is it possible to use 1975-1976 LH and RH crankcases from YZ125 with the all the components and covers of TY175?

Now I dont know if this has been done before but would it be possible to take my 96 yz250 and mount all the parts onto a beta/sherco style trials frame. I want the low frame and maneuverability and the a yz is what I have to work with. I just want to know what I would be getting myself into or if there is someone out there that has converted a bike into a trails setup
