So it is my turn to open our weekly staff meeting with a fun activity. Quizes seem to be popular and whenever it's my turn I always have something relavent to things I like. So I have done several Harley quizes, and a few snowboarding quizes. With my first trials bike in the garage I would like to do a trials quiz I am thinking something along the lines of. Which of the following is not a trials technique. A. Splatter B. Double blip C. Holding pressure D. Double down The purpose is to make it as hard as possible so that the person with the best random guess ability has a chance to win. While anyone who has heard me talking about trials for the last 3 years will …

Hi All, I've got my recently removed old piston sitting on my garage shelf. I keep looking at it and wondering how I can put it to some use because it's served me well while it was in there. So I'm wondering if I can polish it up or paint it or something. And make it into something practical or something I can put on display. I've seen pistons made into ashtrays but as a non-smoker I'm not so keen on that idea. Any idea's, fun or not, are most welcome. Best of balance. Neo

Went to go flying Sunday evening. All had been running well on the aircraft, then I go to do my run-up test on the plane that eve and it is rough, not running right at all on either magneto under load. Thought about plug fouling an such, reved it out a few times, then tried the carb heat and it went smooth as glass. Went back to normal with no carb heat then rough mag check again. Kept running at low revs for a while to get some heat into the motor, but no change on the runups and then it seemed ok so I pulled out on the runway and applied full power for takeoff and it ran rough again, so aborted takeoff. I had noticed a large swing in altimeter setting upon preflight, d…

Hello, Being a total noob to the sport/lifestyle of trials, I am interested in all of its aspects. One thing I have noticed is that there appears to be a distinction between U.S. Trials and European Trials. What are those differences? Thanks, Jimbo

My computer runs extremely slow, they seems to be loads of processes running in the back ground, i m sure they all do not need to be running, but i have no idea what i can and can't close down. is there a programme (preferably free that can be down loaded to clean my system up ? or some help from one of you Whizz Kids ( please if responding talk in plain english and not Tech speak as i will have no idea what you are talking about. ) It may not be the processes that is slowing they system down, it was just my first stab at a partial answer. any help will be much appreciated :-)

I have never really been politally active, but I am starting. Here is the US review for last year! A Recap Of 2009 You know, I think everyone, no matter what party or who you voted for should take a look at this. Pretty interesting but so sad President Obama just completed an ANTI-AMERICAN TRIFECTA:

This was submitted by a guy who purchased his lovely wife a "Pocket Taser" for their anniversary. Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 22nd anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Toni. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser. The effects of the taser were suppose to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety.... WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button. Nothing! I wa…

I wonder if Our Brethren Brits would be Outraged at a proposal to build a mosque at Ground Zero in Lockerbie? I know our constitution allows for freedom of speech and religion but, does this not seem like an in your face attempt to insult, humiliate and diminish the values we hold dear as decent human beings? I know there are many in our country who feel otherwise. Would citizens of the U.K. see this as just, "Religious Tolerance" ?.

Poor Grandma's crying over the death of her pet budgie, she wails at her son to ''Do something..anything''. Her dopey son rubs the dead bird but ..no reaction..so in desperation Dopey-boy crushes a Viagra tablet into it's beak thinking ''this might get the blood flowing''.... ...but it's a no go. While Grandma has a senior moment of dementia her son puts the budgie in the freezer ,planning to visit the taxidermist's later. Later arrives and the son opens the freezer door and is astonished to see the budgie alive and well, steaming with sweat. He says to the budgie ''How come you're sweating?'' The bird says ''I'd like to see you get the legs open on a frozen chicken?…
