Hi. My Seeley 200 Honda at the last trial on Sunday was running roughly when I revved it hard to climb a hill. It was so bad I fived the section 3 times !! Other than this problem the bike starts easy and pulls well at low / mid revs. Ant idea? Has anyone run a different carb ? Hope you can help as I love this little bike Cheers Azzy.

On todotrial here shows Raga's hometown celebrating his indoor title. I think Silsden must just expect several world titles. Shows the difference in how the sport is perceived in Spain to here.

I have lots of smaller logs (8-10") around my property and I was wondering if anyone came across a good way of fastening smaller logs together to make a bigger obstacle? I have debated about using rope, fiberglass ties (like on big shipping boxes), and rebar to hold them together. Once the snow clears, I want to build up my riding area with bigger obstacles.

Finally approaching the point of trying to flash up my 240 Fantic that I have been patiently re-doing. Getting very excited to hear it run. Last things to do, are clean the carb completely, and put the new ring on , throttle cable, and put the rest of the engine back together. Hopefully try flashing it before the weekend is over!!

Hi, does anybody else have problems accessing this site? All I get is a bloody annoying message that I don't (I do actually!) have the latest version of flash installed etc and can't use the site. Even if I do the suggested thing and go and download the latest version it still doesn't accept that I have the bloody thing installed. I'm using NT4 with IE 6.028 if that has any relevance. We won't even talk about loading it on my linux platform, using Konquerer... God, I hate "flash" websites..... Kevin.

Rather than the usual which boots I thought I would ask which goggles? I ride a few national trials a year on the road and also the odd long distance trial and have been using a cheap pair of goggles & the elastic is crap just wondered if any one had found and make, style better than any others. Also any advantage from having a face mask built in.

  8. A Mate of mine had left a bike with me, to sell if possible while he was away. Yesterday afternoon a chap came and bought it and was quite pleased with the bike. This morning I got up and checked the old email, and find this email from the chap who bought the bike. [Q] chap who bought the bike. Thought I'd send you an up-date. Got over to Kyles and was showing his Dad the bikes. Had the Sherco off the trailer and did a few small wheelies and Kyle said he wanted to give it a try .... I said okay and got him the helmet and emphasized just put around don't give it any gas, that my first time out I went right to emergency (to say no would show a lack of trust). …

Donning my flamesuit! I was watching Transworld sport yesterday and it seems that global warming is likely to close some ski resorts situated at lower altitudes, indeed two resorts in Scotland are up for sale. So will we benefit from these closures? Ski resorts usually make for really good terrain and there's not much else you can do with them except declare them nature reserves.

Just recently i have been experiencing problems with the engine cutting out. I have tried adjusting the idling speed, but this is very hit and miss. The problem only gets better after 2/3 hours of riding. Could there be a blockage anywhere? Any ideas would be fantastic!

Hi All, I recently purchased an Aplilia Cimber 280R. The guy I bought it off said it had been lying for about 4 months and even though it started first or second kick hot or cold I decided a carb strip and clean could do no harm. Seems my ham fisted re-assembly bent the brass arms that close the petrol valve, meaning the petrol p**sed all over the place when I turned on the petcock and the bike now won't start for love or money..... It has a Dellorto PHBH26 carb in it and I was wondering A) what height should the float level be set at and, How do I measure float hight in the first place? I got it to the point that the bike would start with the choke on, but would n…

I guess this is asking a bit much for a Rover 200 but would buy any chance it be able to take a 2002 Beta 250 and a TY80. Read on a recent post about a rack Bernie Schreiber had for a corvette which was for two bikes.

I needed to send my engine off for repair. I went to the local shipping stores and they wanted about $125 USD to pack and ship the engine. Too much I thought so I made a shipping crate. Bolted in the engine and wrapped it with paste board box and it cost me only $67 USD to ship it. No comments on my welding abilities please.
