i have noticed that my TLR 200 bike has a ally rear exhaust pipe but no centre box, its connected straight to the header pipe, was wondering if this makes any difference to the performance of the bike, It was like that when i brought it, Do you need the centre box for anything ? prehaps it makes it a bit quiter? thanks

I have a twin disc model 1988 and above half throttle it runs rough/lacks power, was like this when I purchased. Runs really smooth below half throttle and ticks over like a Swiss watch but does not like starting with choke and appears to be running rich? Anyone had this problem ? Thinking the jetting maybe wrong, what jets are people using with the larger/later carb ? Any comments much appreciated

Hi. Just wanted some help. My dad is making his own exhaust system for his Fraser Honda 185, he is having trouble with getting the correct amount of back pressure in the system. We would be very grateful with any hints and/or tips from people who know anything about exhaust system design or have made any exhausts themselves, for a four stroke. Hi techs, The new four stroke CR250F (I think) has a coil built into the plug cap. Do you think this would work with an old CDI ignition?

Was wondering what valve gap adjust for a1986 tlr 250

Would be most grateful for any advice on main jet sizes and needle position on the 24mm keihin carbs in the UK please. Mines got a #108 main jet and a #38 slowjet (it’s a jap import) and the needle is 272301, wth the clip on 3rd slot from top. The manual shows these main jet sizes from oem parts: #100 #102 #105 #108 #110 #112 #115 and slow jet: #35 #38 whats the best setup for sea level upto 900ft (which is the highest I ride). Any info would be very gratefully received, thanks.

Managed to acquire a sidestand for my tlr250, in dire need of new paint, can anyone tell me what colour the stand would be originally? Might as well get it right! cheers, S.M.
