This Sunday is the Consett Club Spring Trial, and WILL include a conducted TY80 Route. The TY80 course will be at the start point of the Spring Trial which is at Oxen Law. It will follow the normal format of half a dozen sections set out to practice then ride, followed by a break for dinner then a few sections set out in the afternoon just to walk then ride. Sections are set right from beginner ability - as long as the kids can stop and start they should be able to manage no problem. Sections are set for kids to enjoy, not to be dangerous whilst introducing them to trials. Hope to see the usual kids along, as well as some new ones are more than welcome and the sections…

We will run two routes if there is enough demand:- Easy Route for Oset / beginners etc Hard Route for those a little more advanced. Suffice to say neither route will be anything dangerous, but hopefully challenging enough to take marks. There will be a full day, depending upon numbers of riders and observers (helpful parents !) of trial and practice time and I'm su…

I have just been reading the article about Pat Smage, first time i've read it. Why is he riding a 290 Sherco bike???? Their have been various posts on here regarding this kid, about him possibly riding in the Youth Indoor etc, and about getting a US rider into the WTC. The article also say's he wants to ride some Youth WTC round after his 16th birthday. Surely by riding a 290 he is going to struggle in any Youth WTC rounds where he would have to make the transition to ride a 125!! and similarly in any UK youth champs. Just my thoughts, seen as it seems that you guys in the US are trying hard to find someone good enough to compete at world level, I don't know ho…
