  1. I cannot for the life of me see how Marc Marquez could be off the podium at Brno and miss out beating the record of Giacomo Agostini, 11 straight wins. He was in the 1.55's on Saturday to take the Pole. Vale had a finger injury in a nasty crash, and still managed to stay ahead of him. Am I to believe this was just an off day for the World Champion?

Yes, I know this is a trials site, but it has a MotoGP section so I may as well use it to have a bit of a moan. This morning I received an email from PayPal stating that Dorna (the organisation that runs MotoGP) have grabbed about £125 from my account. This is the cost of viewing the 2020 GPs. Unfortunately I was unaware that this was an automatic payment triggered at the end of the final race of the 2019 calendar which happened yesterday at Valencia. My gripe is that this sum was grabbed without prior warning. Personally I would have preferred an email informing me that this sum was about to be deducted from my bank account and that it could be cancelled if I so wished. …

  3. Under new tyre regulations and with an 800c capacity limit MotoGP 2007 got underway at a sunny Losail circuit with a pole for Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), second place on the grid for Casey Stoner (Ducati) with the final front row slot going to Colin Edwards (Yamaha). With an ambient temperature of a modest 23 degrees, and with the track at 27 degrees, conditions were ripe for riders to make the most of this benign weather. They ripped around this 5.4km track without suffering the customary privations of heat exhaustion when this race was held in October here in the Qatar desert. The circuit was also relatively dust free owing to the Superbike race …

The MotoGP class served up a typically hard-fought hour of qualifying with Spanish sensation Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC212V) powering to pole here in Jerez. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) qualified second fastest with another Spanish star Carlos Checa (LCR Honda RC212V) completing the front row. With the 4.423km track notoriously sensitive to temperature changes, grip was not at the level provided during tests here earlier in the month when times were well up on last year

Dani has triumphed here at Le Mans on a 125cc machine in 2003 and the Spanish idol achieved two 250cc wins at the Bugatti circuit in 2004 and 2005. He also set the pole position here with a lap time of 1m 33.990 seconds in his debut MotoGP season and will be looking to achieve even more this weekend as he starts his 100th Grand Pr…

This was one of the great MotoGP races. Fought at high intensity for 30-laps the action never let up and it was Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) who eventually prevailed over Marco Melandri (Fortuna Honda RC211V) in second and series points

Well the Dr did it again! But what about that ride from Casey Stoner!!!! I think Casey will soon be on the podium once he comes to grips the Motmonster. He was on rails for the first 11 laps and then seemed to lose the flow a bit and suddenly it looked like a 250 lapping in the top 5????? Still a bloody good effort just the same(can an Aussie say that here????) Is Rossi at top speed or has he got something more than his arm up his sleeve (as Barry Sheene used to say). Doohan used to like to get out in front and build a big gap if he could, at least then you knew what he had. Rossi never lets you see if he has anything left in the tank and just wins by being just far en…

When is he going to face the fact that he just isn't as fast as the top three now? Adding JB to his list of excuses really sucks,i don't believe he would have had exactly the same success over the years without him.Has anyone mentioned a replacement? If he goes into the tests following this weekend without a race engineer who understands the bike then surely he's already compromising his 2014 season.Stoner went to early,Rossi's going to hang on too long when he should've gone out on top.

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) is pleased to announce that Dani Pedrosa will once again be a factory Honda rider in MotoGP for 2011 and 2012. The two-year deal extends Pedrosa's career-long relationship with Honda which has brought three world championships, 35 Grand Prix victories in all classes and 12 MotoGP wins - including victories at the last two races. Recent results show that Pedrosa and the Honda RC212V have evolved into one of the strongest combinations in MotoGP, and it is a partnership that both parties are determined will grow even stronger for the next two seasons. 20. Is Casey Stoner on his way to win the 2011 MotoGP Title now like I think he is? I know we are only about 5 races through the season, but Casey has come back from that unfortunate mistake by his former team mate with as much confidence and style as anyone could imagine. Let's face it......Honda rules this year. (I've never owned one}, but, the Yamaha's ridden by Jorge, and Ben, just have not displayed the Ponies (HP),that the Honda's have. With a line up like Casey, Dani, Dovi, and yes even.....Marco, comment refrained, there does not look like any other Manufacturer has a chance. Forget about Ducati. Does any one have a different take on this matter?
