  2. Started by irishjohn,

I recently purchased a mostly complete KT250 which I intend to restore to ride vintage events. I am have collected most of the missing bits, along with a donor bike. There are few parts I need to replace with new, sprockets, cables, swing arm bushings and shocks. Anyone have a source for these parts. I plan to run premix and remove the oil pump, where can I obtain a single throttle cable which would work with a Domino slow throttle assembly?

I live out here in Dubai, so the pre 65 scene consist of me and my mate Martin !!! 1. who and were are the best people to get a 230, or 250 cc converstion kit for my cub? 2. And best people for Trials parts for the same bike? thanks in advance !!

Results of the Manx 2 Day Classic have been posted on the Manx Trials Club Web site. As You'll see, in a reversal of last year's results, Dave Thorpe beat John Maxfield on most cleans - both having lost 25 marks. Joint third only one point behind were Chris Gascoigne and Dave Wood with Chris taking third again on most cleans. Click this for the results. How does Dave do it? Amazing for his age.

Has anyone managed to fit a belt drive primary to an AJS M16? I'm looking at trying to fit a Bob Newby product but not sure that the width of the cover is large enough to take the belt. Does anyone know where I might get a slightly wider cover? Are there any other products out there for this conversion to the M16? Thanks

  13. So the boat ticket is booked, I know roughly where it is, i know whos running it (Bill Pye) and the 340 fantic should be serviced in time. I know Bilco is going and a few other yorkshire boys too. What else do i need to know? I will be tenting it on site, which I am told is ok. Is it primative or are there any loos? 18. I know with petrol prices being as they are that the travel budget is strained but if you ride pre65 or a twin shocker here are two dates which may be off interest. The first weekend of August (2nd/3rd) sees the German Championships move to Engelsberg, which is close to Munich. Free camping etc etc. One week later, there are two trials which count to the Eurocup in Salzstiegl in Austria. I iknow George Greenland and Joe Howells have ridden both in the past and really liked it. Contact me via a pm for the regs of either lee

  20. Started by steve,

I haven't riden a trial for nearly 10 years now so I'm a little out of touch with it all. Which championship would be the best for me to ride on my Montesa Cota 330 (1985). According to the acu web site there appears to be 2 which I could enter. Sammy Miller and Acu Traditional?? Do any these Trials involve road work? Which would be the best for me and the 330? I presume I still need to join a local club (will join Nene Valley anyway) but do I need an ACU licenece - when I started in 1988 you needed one, they then abolished it. Is that still the case? Other than the national champs are there any good events in the Midlands for Twinshock? Thanks, Steve
