I have a 1972 Bultaco 350 Model 92, registered 1/8/1972, (original red Slimline SM replica glass tank) and I am just wondering if anyone knows the correct silver paint colour on the tank - i.e. similar to Ford Silver Fox ? The tank appears to have been painted as the black "pinstripe" between the red tank and silver flash which has the "Bultaco" sticker is raised in profile. I just wanted to paint the silver part and was looking for a matching colour.

This year i have been lucky enough to get an entry. As i have never ridden before in Scotland, competitively that is got stuck in a green bog last year just trying to get to my section to observe, what tools bits etc do you/should you carry round with you? Also what do you prepare differently if anything on the bike? Serious answers preferred but i'm sure old Slappers will have something to say as usual

Hi, I am new to trials and I'd like to get into classic trials. I have an old twin shock Fantic and would at some later stage like to take up pre65. Does anyone know of clubs in central Scotland that accomodates this line of the sport or do I join a trials club and just go along with my Fantic? Cheers

After completing an Ossa TR 350 last year (1st restoration) i wanted to give it another go, however the Ossa cost me quite a lot of money so i wanted to see what could be achieved on a tight budget. I had a Yam TY 250 in the back of the Garage and i bought a little Montesa Cota 200 for

I need the chrome front pipe for a Bultaco Sherpa 49 - the original horizontal type not the kit version as fitted to type 80 for the downward pointing silencer. There are none available in the UK at the moment, I've tried the US with Hugh's, Hogans and a couple of others but no luck. I've found a website in Spain for Romeromoto and they have them but I can't speak Spanish and his English is not too good - communications have failed after a couple of e-mails.... He has them but I just can't order one... Does anyone know of anywhere that has these exhaust pipes for sale? Mr Greeves - do you know of anywhere in Spain that I can get one from? They must be available somewhe…

So the '.. regret to inform you letter ...' has arrived. What do you have to do to get an entry? 1. Move overseas? 2. Ride a pre-unit? 3. Find an obscure make of machine to ride? 4. Have your daughter ride with you even if she is no good and hates it? 5. Find a friend in Scotland from which to post your entry? 6. Put your entry in the envelope with a former stars? All of the above I don't object to the likes of Mick Grant, Eric Boocock, Mick Wilkinson, Peter Gaunt etc and other well known names getting an entry. They have dedicated their lives to the sport and deserve it. It has to attract spectators and that's fine. But it's the young riders (under 40/45) give…

After reading in the Classic trials press, the Pre 65 Scotish allows tubless type tyres to be used with a tube in their regulations....but not without. Could someone enlighten me with the logic behind this and also do tubless tyres run without a tube... offer any proven advantage and if so what. Thanks
