Found these photos of an MZ trials while looking around on the net. I remember a story from a few years back about an East German rider turning up at the SSDT, just after the Berlin Wall came down, with a home brewed MZ effort....not sure if this is the same one ???? Martin

As team manager for the Victorious BMCA2 team I would like to congratulate our team members. Not only did our team win the event but our riders Alan Nicklin and Robert Bowyer finished first and second overall. These two were backed up by Chris Denney and Keith Gardner with our fifth (non scoring) member Mick Parkes who rode with a painful back injury and made the finish with a respectable score. This is the first time that a team from the AMCA has won this event. To say we are well chuffed is an understatement.

Hello folks. I have a bit of a mystery on my hands, and I'd really appreciate some help! Recently I bought a frame, and it was described as being froma particular manufacturer, and from the photographs made available, I had no reason to believe it was not as described. However, having now had the opportunity to examine it more closely, I begin to doubt that I know who made this thing! Since then, I have shown it to a number of people, and the number of differing opinions roughly equates to the number of people I've shown it to Anyone who can identify this .... please ????? !!!!! Thanks, people

Hi I wonder as a new member if there are any of you out there with experience of modding the pre 9E engines . I'm hoping to get back into trialling my Norman fitted with mildly modded 8E . If we start with the exhaust I made a tidy but confused system with the front pipe crossing over from left to right around the front downtube and over the top of the flywheel / gearbox to enter a transverse tubular pot of two chambers and very short with the tailpipe blowing down onto the rear chain . Neat yes , confusing the charge I suspect so No.1 on my list; any thoughts ? Would like to keep it high level really , considered just cut and shut of standard silencer from Armours . Nex…

As TMX were a little shy I though't I'd post this on here Mr Roger Harvey Williams, the Stockton Stallion, clevelands answer to George Clooney no less, won the Twin Shock class at the Peak trial and secured his first British Championship. No doubt he's still talking about it and looking forward to those championship winners get togethers in the years to come with Dougie, Graham, Steve Colley, Steve Saunders and friends. I understand he will NOT be moving to Switzerland for tax reasons congratulations mate.
