Often on here we are commonly reading comments by people about service and products they are unhappy with. Occassionaly we are able to pass on our positive experiences with people and companies, and this is just such a letter! I just wanted to take a minute to thank Beta USA not only for their top notch service but the knowledge about Beta that they have passed on now for some 20yrs. I know that many people in North America share the experiences I have had too. I am just so pleased that my son is able to ride such a great bike for him and that Beta themselves offer such a wide variety of machines to suit kid's of all ages!!! We just received our 06 Rev80 which much to…

Anyone know a good match for the grey on the clutch case on a 2010 Evo 250, tried Beta Uk and they didn't know. It looks the same grey used on a Rev 3 but I'm not sure. Cheers Tony

Hi All, I treated myself to a new Sincro but am gutted that the last point of clutch lever travel before full engagement is a light-switch effect that makes the bike jump forward - seriously annoying where you need to stay precisely on line in a tight turn. I have tried all three built in pre-sets on the diaphram clutch, but to no avail; the lever is not heavy on the fingers but the bite is too sudden to control with clutch slip I would normally use on almost any other bike. The bike has only done three hours on the original Liquid Moly oil. My old Evo wasn't like this. Please, any ideas at all? Otherwise I'll have to sell it and go back to either TRS…

It is not easy to use standard bent feeler gauges for valve clearance inspection and I would think a 90 degree bend would work better. Has anyone found 90 degree gauges in the correct size? I found some sets used for big diesel engines but the smallest is 0.008" and they are needed down to 0.004" (0.1 mm). There are some straight brass gauges. Do they bend better than stainless steel?

Hi all, Pretty much as the title says really - can anyone give me the float height for a dellorto flatside carb fitted to a 125cc 2006 Rev 3? We are having problems starting the bike and when checking the carb the brass arms that the floats sit on were bent unevenly. The bike will sometimes fire first kick then refuse to start.

Gday all, I was just perusing the Elextrex website when I came across this gem - http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/beta-enduro-9051-0.html Perhaps an alternative for when your Techno stops... I assume the US Electrex site will have them there as well. Cheers, Stork

Hi all.. just ripped them little bolts out on my swingarm today...the ones that stop the snail chain adjuster thingy. I'll try to post a pic, to show you what I mean..although I always have trouble posting a pic. ANyway...the reason I'm telling you all this..is I could see one of the bolts was knackered..or more so the thread was knackered ages ago..but I should have done something about it then, 'cause now its REALLY knackered..kind of ripped itself a nice little sideways hole in the swingarm..so will have to be welded? re-drilled? and re-threaded now. SO KEEP an eye on that bit REV riders. PS> If I CAN post a pic it will be BEFORE the damage...will try to take a …

Bike cut out today at end of trial. No warning, was upto temp and working reasonably hard. Long push back to van. No spark, plug and lanyard checked loom inspected with nothing obvious, coil with resistance of 9.55 kohm. does anyone know which wires to test on stator plug and what resistance you should expect? Thanks in advance

Hi gang, I have been riding a few green lanes on the new ALP to get the feel of it off-road in advance of the upcoming Guy Fawkes LDT. I am only 9 stone so I could do with softening the suspension if possible. There was no tech manual with the bike so I have no idea about the quantity and grade of fork oil. Any ideas??

Can anyone describe exactly where the vent lines from the crankcase on a Beta TR34 connected to from the factory? There is one line directly under the carb and one line on the side above the stator.
