OSET Electric Trials Bikes

Hi guys I have just purchased the above bike and would like to slow it down a little bit until my daughter gets to grips with it. What can I do?

Silly question but should you be able to push the bike freewheeling when switched off or does it just drag the rear wheel as if in gear

Hi just got my lad a oset 16 fully charged it up all 3 lights on the throttle grip after a bit he stop I noticed it went on to 2 red lights and lost power fast but never went down to 1 red light is this right thanks

Ok I have just bought my son a 16 racing and want a spare set of batteries, can't really justify buying a boost battery at the moment, can anybody point me to some decent standard batteries online? Thanks.

Hello, Liking this bike a ton! Has anyone swapped out their stem for something that has a little more rise and a lot less reach? Looks like ~50mm offset and 0 degrees of rise on the stock stem here... this has much less offset, and some rise too... ...enough rise to clear to the blue comp clicker ( I think ) What do you think? Hi there. I've just ordered a set of fork springs to fit in my son's Oset 16 Racing. Apparently they fit in the left hand air fork of the rst forks. They are supposed to soften the ride as the standard forks are a very hard ride even with minimal air in. Was wondering if anyone has done this modification themselves. Do you need to remove any of the existing fork internals on the left side before fitting the springs and what order do the springs go in ? Do they just sit one on top of each other ? I'm more than happy stripping down trials bike forks but oset forks are MTB forks and seem very different.

Hi, Could someone confirm if this is the temperature sensor that needs to be disconnected that will stop the power limitation feature ? ive looked at the pics on the oset website and it doesn’t look like the connector shown, but neither do the others ! thanks

I've got a 2012 Oset 16 24v that my youngest has now started riding. I'm about to invest in a boost bikes battery to reduce the weight and give him extra riding time but I've got a question about the electrics. Is it possible to upgrade the electrics to those on the newer bikes to get the more flexible speed /power/ throttle response controls and the magnetic cut out?

I have a Spider 16 which hasnt been used for a long time. Im trying to charge the batteries just to see if the bike actually works as its new to me. I know im gonna have to get new batteries anyway. The charger when connected to the mains just show a green light, the online manual suggests it should be red then green when batteries are charged, this one is green without being connected to any batteries. Any ideas?

Just got my son an Oset 16 racing. He is thrilled to bits. Garden is now chewed up but at least he enjoyed his first few rides. Mrs sensibly won't let me take him practicing till his proper helmet arrives. Was wondering about washing it? I've always jet washed trials bikes and dried them properly afterwards with no issues at all. I understand jet washing these osets is a big no no. Is this actually the case ? What bits should be kept dry ? If they have such an aversion to water should he even avoid streams and puddles? Any help would be appreciated before I ruin it.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening with my sons MX10 I switch ignition off and it flicks on and off if I don’t take of the safety plug it just stays on empty even though the ignition is off

Hi folks, my son was riding is OSET today and it appeared to go into limp mode (no buggy as I thought it had just over heated) but then it started make a funny noise from the motor area...I noticed that the D Link sprocket was slightly loose and wondered if was just that or if it was something more serious. I've posted videos as its easy to understand. If anyone is considering fitting any guards , I can recommend carbon fibre items from KELLEY CARBON . All hand made in the UK . NOT the cheap ABS plastic that cracks and shatters just looking at it !

My son is almost 3, and rides an oset 12.5, he's going really well on it. I want to get him some proper kit now, but he's quite small so struggling to find stuff small enough. He currently uses a bmx style helmet, but after a full face helmet? Can any of you recommended anywhere were I can buy the really small stuff? And can anyone recommend a decent helmet?
