Bought a 250 model 198 and was just wondering if i could convert to a 325 or 350 ? Is the crank longer stroke or is it just bore? I know the weight on the end of the crankshaft and the flywheel are different but can you convert or is it more trouble than it's worth?

Hello, I'm just returning to owning a trials bike after a gap of 30 yrs or so! Yesterday I bought a Bultaco that has also been away from the sport for a similar amount of years. The bike has frame number B 9202989 and engine PM9101464. The frame has the aluminium bash plate instead of bottom tubes. The tank and seat/side panels are one piece molded with ribs on the side panels. I'm not too worried if the bike is a bitsa but would welcome any info on what I've bought.

Hi, I've recently brought a 1978 Sherpa and it's on standard sprockets 13/46 and I think it's a bit too tall for trials. Any suggestions on better sizes? I will need to buy chain and sprocket set, so want to get it right first time. I hope someone can help.

Hi I have a M159 Bultaco 350 and have consulted both Haynes and Clymer manuals Please can anybody give me a tip for removing the following bobbin that has attached itself to the crank, presumably with the O ring that appears to have died inside it? This bobbin is not mentioned anywhere, but I assume is common as the steps in the crank at this end appear common to more than the 159. Also, please confirm: 1. Remove bobbin 2. Replace O ring (about an inch in diameter) 3. Replace seals in carrier 4. Replace bobbin 5. Replace weight and re-assemble the rest of it etc.. It's just No 1. I can't find any reference to and am struggling to remove! Cheers Mick

I am currently getting my 158 ready for registration and need a copy of the wiring diagram for this model. I have others that are similar but not the same. I assume the 159 wwould be the same. If anyone has one that they can email me I would really appreciate it. Regards Drew

Hi, i'm new to the forum and as of last sunday the proud owner of several boxes containing most of a 1977 Sherpa t350 ( 191 ).The first question is what colour should it be? The Tank is red and the frame is silver but the fork legs and airbox are blue. The bloke i got it from had bought a pair of sherpas with his mate from the same man and had one each.Mine has matching numbers but i know the engines were in the wrong frames when they got them so its quite likely the other bits were mixed up too. The frame number is JB-19100600.Any help would be appreciated.
