I need to replace the O rings on the fork caps of my 73 MAR with Betor forks. The measurements seem to be 3mm x 31mm. Here in the USA metric Orings are not locally common. Also, before I order them, I was hoping someone knew the proper size. Thanks

Hello here again. This spring is there a specific way of getting these things to fit. I have been trying now for an hour and all i have managed to do is end up with two fingers with plasters on as this spring has managed to cut both. Every time i try to force the spring round to get the straight part of this spring into the slot of the swing arm it just will not go in because the spring is too big to move into the round machined recess. I thought that when i force the flat part of this spring round that the spring would become smaller allowing it to fit in but it actually gets bigger??? Now this spring is new and presume that there is only one type made but i recall tha…

As above. These reusable clips or are they as with me doing jobs on this Ossa i have now refitted everything back together refilled fluids and have started the bike , fed up with the compression of this 2013 model , and now the two joints i had to unclip are now leaking. I had to drain the system manipulate and move pipes around and also reposition the clip a little and still they leak even left over night there are drips on the floor. Is it just my luck or are these really not reusable as i am getting fed up with things not working out with this bike. Ta

Hi, I've just registered on the site. I have been replacing the fuel pump on my TR 280i and found a few helpful posts here. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find an Explorer conversion kit. By the way I found the fuel pumps from the KTM 690 Duke's look identical and are relatively cheaper..

Hi Folks! My Explorer ran out of fuel on a 10mile road trip at about 45mph. After hearing a strange sound I immediately pulled the clutch and the engine stopped. After refueling I noticed that compression is lower than it was before but still present. I am worried that the piston seized as the engine doesn't start any more. Any ideas what I can look at before I start dismantling the whole engine? Thanks! Felix

I have a 2014 tri 300 and the braktec front calliper has started to seep oil between the two halfs ,I take it the rubber seal has probably split. Problem is when I've looked online for the repair kit but they only show for the gas gas racing models and never ossa is it still the same thing? And there tends to be two types one for around £20 and one newer version for about £40 anyone know which would be the one I need?

I have a Caswell-lined fibreglass tank and wondering if I should, or need to, remove fuel mix while storing over the winter (Canadian) and if so, should I replace it with something or okay to leave empty. For my street bikes I just top up tank and add a bit of stabilizer. I asked my neighbour who owns a boat and he says it should be fine if it's treated/lined as it protects from ethanol. Thanks in advance.

Hey mods, can delete if not allowed. As Lotus54 knows, I recently cooked my Explorer ECU through pin 3. No damage to the harness, the plug is cooked, but that can be replaced. So I'm wondering, as I hunt around for options, if anyone, anywhere, has a known working ECU (or 2) they are willing to sell. It is the 520030211 unit, but I'll take whatever ya got at this point. My only other option(s) at this point is to sell the bike for parts (not what I'd like), or to install a standalone ECU, which, if I can't find a factory unit, is the route I'll likely go down. Post in the thread or send me a message on here if ya have anything! Cheers!

I’m looking for a headlight reflector for my 78 VI Day. I’m not sure but I believe it was only used on the 78 black tank VI Day. I haven’t been able to find one anywhere. I’m hoping someone on this site knows of a source. Thanks

With reference to an earlier post on here about a broken threaded boss on the right side engine casing on a 250 Mar, I have the same problem on mine. Upon further inspection I noticed the hole for the thread was a further 10mm deeper from where it was broken off. Using an M6 machine tap I managed to tap the hole to the bottom giving more than enough length and strength for an M6 countersink bolt. The only problem I'll have now is sourcing a bolt long enough! Site won't let me send pic as over 2mb big. Can this be changed or is there something I need to do? I've sent pics before no bother.

Hi, Thinking of fitting a PWK 28mm on the old Gripper. A common mod by all accounts, however I’m struggling to find the basic start jetting for these carbs. Does anyone know and willing to share? I have an 28mm OKO already but I guess it’ll need jets/ slide/ needle to suit the gripper. TIA Brent
