Not sure what they are charging, I lent them my bike as a donor bike to take the moulds off so I got mine free They make the number boards in white or black, and the swingarm protectors are gloss black and carbon look, the frame protectors are gloss black, carbon look or a textured finish like whats on the frame as std. Their website is not updated yet with the parts http://www.trick-bits.com/ I have the gloss black on the bike and it looks good, this is a picture of the other types they gave me.

If anyone is interested Trick Bits are now making swingarm and frame protectors as well as Ossa number boards.
  3. They never said, probably not cheap ! My dealer says you replace the black box on the front and the new one houses battery's, you also get a switch to turn the battery's on and off. So basically the battery's are just giving you a more powerfull spark when needed.
  4. This starting gizmo is not a freebie if you want it you have to pay for it, this info came from the factory.
  5. turned my tickover up by 1/2 turn on the throttle body stop, helped with starting and stalling once warm it was kicking off first kick even in gear. The grip is far better tha I got on my gasser.
  6. Easiest way to see it is become friends with Ossa Motor of Facebook and you will see it there.
  7. I got insurance for it through a specialist broker by using Bikesure @ £135 tpft, I paid for it in 1 go they insisted I bought a Thatcham approved chain and anchor costing £80, then 1 week in they started to ask to see the bikes MOT ? pictures of the front and rear lights, side picture of the bike and its Reg number. I supplied them with pictures of the lights and gave them the Reg number as soon as I had it, they then wanted a picture of a fitted number plate ? and insisted on seeing a MOT, I phoned up and said its a new bike so does not need a MOT full or day time for 3 years and I can't get a legal number plate till get the V5 from the DVLC, they said I had 1 week to comply or they would cancel the policy, I asked to speak to a supervisor about this and was put on hold for over 15min and I hung up sick of waiting. I went to try and get a number plate made with no luck but when I got home I had an email saying they where cancelling the insurance as it was not a road legal bike end of story. They are charging me for the 21 days cover and a £30 admin (they cancelled not me), I've also asked for my £80 back for the chain !! somehow I don't think I'll see that again MSM are expensive because they don't take your no claims into consideration and the Ossa is so bloody expensive, I will be taking the policy out on Monday.
  8. MSM will insure it but it aint cheap,
  9. They wont insure it for on the road, they cover theft and off road for
  10. struggling to get the new bike insured, can anyone with the new Ossa tell me who they are insured with or anyone recommend me a company. I have tried all the usual suspect but no one lists the TR280i will probably need a specialist broker.
  11. Taken from a Ossa factory post on Facebook today, the comment is about the video clip where the bike goes first kick from cold by HAND ! Ossa Motor The bike has the new system to start the engine. It will be available for all OSSA models in two month aprox. By the way, the engine was cold.
  12. It's on Facebook you might have to be a friend of Ossa to see it ? Try this link https://fbcdn-video-a.akamaihd.net/cfs-ak-ash4/439834/583/169128576530207_2234.mp4?oh=b1cd22d11e95c6d0c19f62207399672e&oe=4F32A800&__gda__=1328719872_0b0afe44d918bbf9cd1b22386eedafd6

  14. Thanks for the reply, sounds a great venue but we have ruled it out as its a fair hike for us to get there at this time of year.
  15. On the TC front page Durham County have a trial this weekend but when you check the link it says the venue is TBA, anyone know where it is ? I have done a bit of looking about and on the ACU website it says it's at Ayle which is north of Alston and in Northumberland not Durham ?
  16. From memory press in the bottom of cartridge which can be stiff and a circlip will appear, remove the clip and you will then be able to take it all apart, take note of the way it comes out and reverse for assembly. Hope this helps.
  17. Link works fine, don't blame you for going home I was close to it myself
  18. taff_d replied to tankygsy's topic in Gas Gas
Fork oil is done by air gap with springs out and leg on full compression. Fork oil air gap
  19. Both Richmond and Darlington run non stop and they have no problem filling the entry and they are by far the best trial I have ridden, in my center they allow the stop and 1 club in particular have lost the plot if you can't bounce it about you WILL have a s*&t day
  20. Thanks for the replys Can't make the test day stuck out here for another week yet, Pidcocks advertise test rides so I'll try to organise something with them, I also know a couple of people with 4rts so I'll see if I can have a go on theirs as well.
  21. I fancy a Repsol 4RT for no other reason than I like them, I have been riding trials about 2yrs now and I am always in the last 1/4 of the results on the clubby B/easy course, I currently ride a 2010 250 Gas Gas which I have had to calm down by fitting a low compression head, slow throttle and dropping the front 1 (I now really enjoy riding the bike). I'm changing bikes in the new year and it's between the 4RT and a new Gas Gas. What are your thoughts on a 4RT for a crap rider ?
  22. You even managed to get me with feet up
  23. Page not found ?
  24. Looking good Paul pity I can't be there to help out or ride.
