  1. I like the sound of that, why not give a 4 for 4 or more dabs? At least if you get 3 single dabs in a section you would save 1 mark over the person who foots all the way through.

Dont bother repairing, give Alan a call at Feet up, he will supply all the bits you need. At least you know its done then.
  3. Get one, you will not regret it. I am almost 16 stone and it goes up anything i throw it at, when i doesn't thats down to me, a beta 200 is a great bike. At a really wet trial i was sitting in the queue, the section was a tight turn and an S type turn up a steep bank of approx 30 ft, both the 290 Sherco and the Mont in front of me failed to get up, my little 200 climbed out with ease. One thing i have found is that they do not rev as hard as Sherco or Gas Gas
  4. He is one you can trust, known and ridden with him.
  5. I cant remember how to fill it up, last time i had a GG was late 90's and if i remember rightly i had to fill it up through the level plug, as for colour it depends on what the previous owner put in it. A lot of people seem to use ATF now.
  6. Hi I ran my mixture at 60 ml per 4 litres of fuel. You should be able to see the oil level half way up the window. Balance, WELL i've been trying that for 30 years but it seems i need one of those bands on my wrist. As for what gear, you just need to ride it and find out what suits you best, enjoy your Gas Gas.
  7. about 190ml, accounting for some left in the measuring jug
  8. I've run my beta rev 3 on this for the last 4 years and never had a problem. I run it 60ml per 4 litres of fuel. I cant say it smells of strawberry though, even though it is written on the bottle.
  9. If the carb is not the problem it could be the main seals are leaking, used to be common many years ago, although i must admit i have not seen it recently. Maybe the quality (including Beta) has improved.

I've ran all my bikes with 15ml per litre using semi synthetic never had a problem in 25 years.
  12. Try Horsham riders or RRND in Redhill, both have good grounds and are local for you, you wont be disappointed.
  13. i always find this topic fascinating, i first rode a ty175 25 years ago then a Mont 349 and i have had too many to mention over the years, i bought a TX 270 in 98 and kept that until 2006 when i bought at beta200 and i have to say it carries my 16 stone up anything i have thrown it at. My advice is buy a bike get riding, meet some great people, but most of all ENJOY IT.
