Bleeding Beta Brakes
When you fitted the new seal kit did you make sure you filled the caliper with brake fluid?. what I mean by that is when you were pressing the pistons into the housing was there fluid in that side of the caliper. If not then it will be an absolute pig to bleed.

Pre Mix Oil?
I have always used a semi synthetic at 75cc per 5 litres and never had any problem. I was advised to steer clear of fully synthetic due to trials engines not revving hard enough to burn it efficiently.

Beta: Gunk In The Radiator?
get a new side casing and seals. you will need to flush the gearbox through with ATF and also you will need to flush out the cooling system. common fault on Beta's.

Rev 3 kickstart
My Rev 3 is the same, It has been like it since July 2006 when I got it new. It fits tight on the spline but the centre seems loose even with the outer nut tight.

AJP Front brake
Try this, dead simple and always works for me. at lever end screw out the adjuster as far as it will go. This will make sure the piston has moved back past the very small inlet hole for the fluid ( this is a must as it causes 99% of front brake trouble). undo caliper bleed nut and let the fluid run out, make sure you keep an eye on the reservoir level. Keep going until the fluid runs clear in colour. tighten up, replace reservoir lid and gently apply the front brake. Normally 3 or 4 pumps and jobs a good un. repeat again if needed. The trick is not to worry about pumping the fluid through.

Hello from Lincoln
Evening The clubs good for you would be Lincoln, Banovallum, Pegasus, Loughborough and Peterbourgh. £1500 will get you a nice Beta or Gas Gas. I wouldn't worry about practice, just come to a trial and ride the easy route, you will find loads of people willing to give any advice.
