Why aren't there more 'fun trials'?
breagh you should may be think about a trial with only a few sections, say 5 or so, sounds like a great idea to me.

Buying a Van Fiat Doblo
Ran two bikes in my old doblo for years, no problem, just turn the front wheels in to the rear footwells, of course mine was a doblo car with rear seats removed, the van may not have rear footwells.

What Kinda Helmet Lid Do You Wear? Any Good Recommendation?
I bought a TTR draft carbon from MRS last week for £139, cheapest buy about £80 from anywhere else.

2011 evo
I'm a sucker for shiny things as well, just bought a new sherco, cause I can and I liked the colour, won't make me any better, probably worse, but who cares, don't drink, don't smoke, don't go with women but I have an expensive bike habit.

New bike, nae grip ?
I have nae idea what you are talking about but at a guess, the standard spring will be probably for a 70kg rider, I'm near 100, so again guessing, there must be a reason why they produce heavier springs, surely it can't be a sales gimmick can it ?

New bike, nae grip ?
It's about 126 free.

New bike, nae grip ?
I ordered a heavier spring from them the other day, it's fairly easy to change the spring. Got myself a flywheel weight as well though not sure about that, well particularly the how to fit it as I don't have an impact gun to pop the retaining nut off.

New bike, nae grip ?
No sure how that's gonna make me feel the tyre gripping.

New bike, nae grip ?
Bike rides fine, just have no feeling of grip at all. I was the only one not getting up or through wet or churned up stuff at all, cost me at least 5 5's today.

New bike, nae grip ?
I've been riding bikes for centuries and never been able to sus out suspension
-
New bike, nae grip ?
Suspension is as it came new, my gasser did have a heavier weight spring but no flywheel weight.

New bike, nae grip ?
Just recently bought myself a new sherco 300, lovely bike and today was my second time out on it but was founding really badly when it came to grip, just couldn't feel anything. Fives all over the place by not getting any grip through the muddy parts, that everyone else was easily coasting through... On my gasser I could feel the grip coming on and was able to throttle accordingly but today, nothing, ziltch, couldn't feel a thing....what's up ???

09 125 not revving out ??
It is missing, it's not under the needle, I'm questioning if said missing retaining part is causing said problems as there is no tension on the needle.
-
09 125 not revving out ??
Missing spring retainer on top of needle ???
-
Keihin carb needle ??
http://www.splatshop.co.uk/sherco-nylon-spacer-throttle-spring-keih1.html Could answer some running issues.
-
Keihin carb needle ??
So this white plastic part should sit on top of needle held down under tension by the spring on the slide ye ??
-
Keihin carb needle ??
Can anyone tell me if the needle on the Keihin carb just sits in the slide via gravity? What I mean by that is, does it just sit there and not held down under tension??

Bloke on a 125
You'll be staggered to find how much power a newer 125 has. I'm 15 stone and the 15 125 gasser I've had a shot of would get up and over anything we have at our club trials.

09 125 not revving out ??
Nothing has changed inside the carb to our knowledge so I'm not sure how the float heights would change ?? Plug in to the HT doesn't seem to "click in" solidly ?? It is running very rich as even a new plug is sooting up just going up the street and back, so leaned it off a bit. I'll probably be riding it at the weekend as I'm now bikeless, so watch my scores come down.
