hi mate it took me ages to get my head round it but its quit easy put the spring through the kickstart shaft as you allready have then with a spring puller pull it round the shaft once hook on stud job done. there will be anough tension to return the kickstart. you have to use abit of force to get the spring round this is why your beter useing a spring puller hope this helps cheers bondy.

hello theres a small crack in the middel section of my exhaust and is leaking 2 stroke oil when its running with out taking it to be welded is there anything i can use to stop it?

hi patrick yes i thought so think the white would look good but its how long the paint would stay on. as if i have them powder coated that will give me problems. may just leave the silver ones on. best regards bondy.

ask bultaco uk ive had them from them. i havant seen any on ebay for ages but they do up up from time to time. other than that buy a new 1 from spain but i wouldnt bother way to much.

nice photos i was only 9 years old then still remeber tho the good old days wish they was back.

some forks dont have Circlips mine dont have them. think they was on the older bultacos tho. there should only be 2 seals in each leg only thing i can think of is they may of not been the corect size and they have put on exra in to build it up. not sure how deep the seals are i did mine last year hope this helps cheers bondy. when i first ever striped my forks i thought the same about the circlips.

hello guys im chainging my sprockets on the 199b to standard 39T rear 11T front what size for chain do i need? 102/104/106 links? i was thinking of buying a new chain.

hi not sure about the nut ive always used the original 1 when you say chain do you mean primary chain or the chain witch drivers the bike? if you mean the primary chain why are you changing it? you should be able to lift the primary chain with your finger about half a link. i onec had a problem with a 199A i had a few years ago the chain was slaping the inside of the fly wheel weight i was lucky it didnt do any damage they do stretch over a verry long time. as fare the nut id be on the safe side and just use the original 1 hope this helps.

update on the 199B headlight shes all done top coat done and back on.

hello joe well i didnt restore all my bultacos i did the 199A myself the 199B had alresdy been restored and the 198B had already been done altho i did put a new tank on the 198B but i cant say thats restoring it all the had work was done by the last owner. the 199B has only had a headlight put on it since owning it oh and new decals on the side panels thats about it. the 199A is in good condtion whent abit mad on that but was good rebuilding it cheers bondy

hello patrick im not really that borther as its onley for a spare swing arm i have for the 199A i have to get them sandblasted first then i will spray them. i do have a tin of bultaco blue i bought from bultaco uk cheers chris.
