  1. Hi all I attended a Graham Jarvis training day on sat at Tong Yorkshire. Both the venue and the training were Great. Graham is real nice guy, very good at giving good clear instruction to both begineers like me and the more experianced riders. I would highly recommend to all. I asked if he would run a day at whitworth, Back cowm Quarry. He agreed in principle as long as the demand was there. I need 10 people to attend @
  2. Very kind of you Mark as said before not available here at the min, i have been waiting for a copy since dec 2010 Adam
  3. Just had a Michelin front tyre put on, and the guy at the shop said he had difficulty beading it, said every time he let the air out to say 20psi the tyre popped of the rim He has pumped it up really hard and told me to leave it over night, the only thing is I am at the Graham Jarvis school tomorrow and when I drop the pressure down to say 6-7 psi I am worried it might pop off again. Anyone got any ideas or help for me as I don't have a compressor or tyre changing equipment. Adam

    Loose kickstart

Hi mate just seen this post, the rev 3 is a great bike IMO but the kick starts do flop around a little mine does and it's a 07, but once it's back in position up against the frame it shouldn't fall back down but it may rattle around a little Adam
  5. I am a little confused now michelin or irc? Whats the main difference again? Adam
  6. cheers for that, just ordered a x11 front then going to order a irc rear, any model? Adam
  7. I have a dunlop on the front at the min and run it at 6psi but it looks flat and you can nearly push the tyre off the rim like its not on the rim properly. I have a michelin x11 on the rear and this seems bob on being run at 4psi. Think a x11 on the front and one on the back or and irc on the rear will be my choice, think the front has a tube as its got a tyre bolt fitted? and the rear doesn't and the tyre says tubeless. Are these tyre pressure's correct Adam
  8. Hi all, I need a new set of tyre's, just wondering which ones are best, think my tyre's have tube's in but not 100% sure as never changed the tyre's as i have only had the bike since christmas. How can you tell if they have tubes in or not? cheers Adam

    New bike

Hi all I have just bought a 99 techno as a second bike for my sisters boyfriend to learn on, Paid
  11. You will get used to the position i reckon i have a 07 rev 3 the brake lever should just clear the chain when you press it down thats how close things run as said its to keep the width of the bike down to a min and even then you will catch it from time to time thats why its hinged so it doesnt brake off the toe Adam
  12. hi mate i have a 2007 rev 3 and mine does the same, it could need stiffening up or it could be set ok as you should have a little sag when you put all your weight on the rear, its possible that the exhaust has had a bang and has pushed the exhaust into the bike thus bending either the exhaust bracket or more than likley the air box brackets that run along the air box that has bent in thus bringing the exhaust closer to the bike and tyre. As i crash a fair bit this happens to me regular some times i use a washer or two or i bend the air box bracket back straight. Now i have wrote this i am wondering if the o7 is the same as the 06 never mind hope this helps Adam

    Starting problems

Hi all, When i crash which is on a regular basis, if the bike goes uposide down or on its side for any length of time obviously the engine gets starved of fuel and shuts off or just stalls. After this event the bike is a real pig to start oftern taking 10 mins or so and loads of kicking to get it started again, which takes its toll on me, as i am not the fittest of people and effects my riding for the rest of the trial.Could any one shed any light on why this is and what i could do to stop this happening or eleviate the problem apart from just not crashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated Adam P.s bike runs well other than that and kicks up first time. She sometimes stalls on down hills but that might be me and leaks fuel out of the overflo but i havent set the tangs yet in the carb this is my next job.
  22. I use wurth dry chain lube and have done on all my bikes road, race or trials, best product on the Market in my opinion it's clean, no build up etc. I also use wd40 after a wash tho on the chain and other parts. WD40 could be used as a primary lube but as stated it would need a few applications in my opinion before riding and even then may not protect enough Adam
