Hi All, Has anyone ever fitted a PWK 24mm FLATSLIDE CARBY to their Trilas bike? I've fitted a PWK 28mm to my old Sherco. But was told, at the time, that the PWK 28mm, being bigger than the 26mm Dellorto, That the low-end power would not be as consitent....something to do with the speed of the air going through the Carb. Anyway the PWK 24 looks very much like the PWK 28. But maybe a bit shorter in height. Which I thought might be good to fit to a Beta too. What do you think? Best of balance. Neo

Hi copemech, It's like WOW!!!....a completely different flipping bike!!! I filled them up to 110mm (FTT), wt2.5....I'm a light weight and that suits me fine. But I just can't believe how easy it is to drops-off

I'd vote for the 250 too. It winds up a bit quicker than the 290. Which I find much better when I want to ride the back wheel for a short time. Once you drop the throttle on the 290, that wheelie is all but over. But either way.....Best of Sherco balance. Neo

Hi Gents, Just to let you know that so far, we've fixed up the following things on my friends Beta:- 1. The front hub disk mounting holes 2. Rebuilt the rear wheel. with a new hub. 3. Replaced the kickstart lever 4. Replaced the gear lever 5. Replaced the handle bars and grips 6. Got a new front mudguard...but need a mudguard bridge. 7. Got a new rear mudguard...but can't fit it yet because the top sub-frame arms are bent down. 8. Repacked the steering bearings...but I think they really need replacing soon. 9. Replaced the front sprocket. 10. Cleaned up the chain....it was a real ****ty mess. 11. Fitted an o-ring to the muffler connection....but it is still too loose because the muffler is damaged inside. 12. Replaced the pegs. 13. Replaced the chain block. 14. Replace the treacle in the gearbox 15. Bought and new carb inlet rubber. As the old one is cracking. But can

I would add that the well know reseller (in the City that this bike came from) did recommend the bike as "Outstanding Value" and "Rides great with exception to a loose muffler mounting". I was unaware that this kind of "Interstate Dumping" went on from reputable suppliers..

Hi KTM, You can get a 12v electric impact wrench from Repco for about $75. I've found mine very handy. And you'll need it when you change the fork oil too. Or bring your bike up the freeway to my place and I'll sort it out here for you. Best of balance. Neo PS. After you've adjusted the timing you can test it out on the rocks up here...... but please..... leave any other Enduro/MX/SuperCross bikes, you might have, at home

"80:1 with synthetic oil and high test pump gas" is the best for these bikes......Remember you can't clean out a Shreco exhust box. So you must keep the gunk levels as low as possible. Best of balance. Neo

Shecro replaced my 06 Shock after the base of the shock mounting fell off. The replacement one has the grub screw but the original one did not. But it might be easier to remove the tensioner ring and drill-out, tap and fit a grub screw yourself. I
