  1. Chris does it AGAIN!!!
  2. Did that plus going to a 42 rear!
  3. In cooperation with Dan Brown we will do the "official bike weights" at the TTC Tennessee National. The bikes will be weighed ready to ride without fuel! The last time there were a couple of surprises (including the Tommi Ahvala real weight)!
  4. Maybe they will paint it Black!
  5. Sorry about that, here is their contact info--www.cvotc.org/2007/schedule.htm---It is at Rusty Lacy's place near Martinsville Va., A very fun ride in a beautiful setting with a bunch a riders out to have FUN---no politics!
  6. That event at Rusty's place is one of the most enjoyable events you will ever ride, also don't miss the Street ride if you have a bike!
  7. Pat took the championship on Sunday, followed by Cody and Chris. That is all the info we have at this time.
  8. In their defense there is apparantly no signal out there, but their should be a way for them to make some effort about their site, also not sure about the scores!
  9. Pat 1st Chris 2nd Cody 3rd Chris very sore after a bad crash on the 1st loop-Ribs and elbow! Not sure about the other places though.
  10. Well put DGSHANNON, RFC and T4C make a difference!!
  11. Try using higher octane fuel, also could need a jetting change and a pipe cleaning!
  12. How did the other 4 strokes fare?
  13. No -much of the reason is money and support. Chris wanted to go but there is no fund or corpotate interest in going, unless for the most part you are self funded. He got a top 50 first timer award when he rode in 2003, but after that there was no help! On the results page it showed Geoff in 58th--are those the final standings?
  14. There are some Very low scores for the class winners!!
  15. Add another head gasket or find the original restrictor in the carb.
  16. I was looking for the ones of the BIG splatter he did--also He and Will went to a private area in AL to practice on some Western style sections that Bill set up!
  17. In the FTA we start in Sept. and finish in June--all snowbound are welcome, Not just Frank and Ron
  18. 29r---Many many thanks for you and your friend checking a section for us on Sunday--Let me know your address and sizes you guys wear and I will send you a couple shirts for your trouble! Thanks again! Barry
  19. Thanks for all in the FTA who helped make it a success, BIG props to Robert Vennell, Doc Jenkins, Kathy Priest, Barb Ganley, Jean Florin, John Farish, Brooks Duncan. The Davis's and all the observers and background helpers (I am sure I forgot somebody)!! A special thanks to Scott (29r) and his friend who volunteered to check a section on Sunday. Pictures and results were sent to citytrials this AM so that will be up soon.
  20. Yes, the Beginner, Novice and Intermediate lines will be good for all but the top vintage classes.
  21. The entry fee for the event is $30 for adults and $15 for Age 16 and under ($5 of that is going to the TDN fund), there is a $10 gate fee also for the use of the park each day. You must have an active AMA membership as well. If your's has expired, we can take care of it at the event, but AMA has made it so easy to use their site for both new memberships as well as renewals. T-shirts for the event will be $15. Sign-up will begin on Friday afternoon around 2:30 at the Florin's camper, on Saturday and Sunday it will begin at 8:30 to 9:45, with the Riders Meeting to follow. We will be having a staggered start time as follows: Beginner and Novice will start at 10:00. Intermediate at 10:10, Sportsman at 10:20, Advanced, Expert, and Champ at 10:30, with a 3:30 cut off time. Depending upon the number of entries, we may decide to start the classes on different sections to prevent bottlenecks. Awards will follow as soon as all scores have been tallied. Please remember, if a rider in unable to finish, it is still important to turn in the scorecard with DNF written across it so we are not waiting for that person to come in, or even worse, be out in the woods looking for somebody who we think may be lost. We are looking forward to a great event. See you soon. Barry and Jean
