    Motorama

Thanks--too bad they aren't doing that there this year!!
  3. We had our regular event there Sunday and there was no problems, the damage was south of there and localized. We broke in a couple of new sections for the 2-Day and well be going out to modify those and build the others in the next few weeks.
  4. I talked to the owner yesterday after setting up sections for our event on Feb. 4th and Glenn said that He won't have any electrical hookups for the FIS due to an oops with his electrical system. He will have plenty of camping and parking for us, but if you need hookup's follow this link for area campgrounds. http://www.google.com/local?hl=en&lr=&...L&oi=localr Barry
  5. Have tried 42, 43 and 44, the 42 as above seems the best!
  6. Didn't think of that--What a Good Idea!!
  7. The AHRMA trials is on Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. There is no conflict on the 3rd and 4th, the AHRMA event is an MX race!!
  9. Shave .5mm off the head and advance the timing 1mm! Also you could shace 12mm off the flywheel!
  10. For the 26th year we will be hosting the annual Fun in the Sun 2-day at Hardrock Cycle park in Ocala on March 3rd and 4th. The event will be held in Sunshine as always and there will be 8 fun and challenging sections with Beginner,Novice, Intermediate, Sportsman, Advanced, Expert and Champ lines. Also in conjunction with this it will be part of the Southeastern Regional Series with points awarded for that competition. We hope you will come and join us for this fun event and also use it as an excuse for a vacation either ar Bike Week and the Supercross the next Friday night or to the other Family attractions! For information consult these sites and for Camping reservations contact Hard Rock. http://www.ftafl.net/calendar.htm http://www.hardrockmx.com/
  11. Any and all can play!! This will be in conjunction with the Southeastern Regional series also, 3-2 day events in Fla, Tenn and Ky. There will be more information about that to follow, but the FIS-2-Day will be as it has always been, a good excuse do ride a Good, Fun Trials and also be able to take in some of the Bike Week festivities!!
  12. "Changed so some riders can go ride the Japan world round. Has moved Tenn & Ohio to week later then originally planed." Quite a change from their mentality last year!
  13. Now all they have to do is quiet their 2 stroke!

    Beta 4-stroke

But will it be quieter than the Beta rev-3?

    Beta 4-stroke

Specifications Montesa COTA 4RT ENGINE Type Liquid-Cooled 4-stroke 4-valve SOHC single Oil Capacity Engine: 0.6 Litres; Transmission: 0.57 Litres

    Repsol 06

You can only get so much with the adjustor before the lever hits it, by shortening it you have more inward adjustment, thus getting the lever closer to the handlebar!

    Repsol 06

Cut or grind off 3mm if the clutch plunger and re-radius it , allows the lever to be closer to the bar!

    Beta 4-stroke

Dry weight is 1.2 kg more than the Mont, but why didnt they have separate eng/gearbox oils. The pressure system is WAY better than the splash, but I would rather not have the chance of clutch particles in the mix!

    Beta 4-stroke

"This may also apply to many of the Mont riders who would prefer a lighter, less complicated 4 stroke," 2kg heavier than the rev 3 isn't lighter than the Mont!! As long as lesscomplicated still means reliable and easy starting!!
  20. When you shut the bike off for the day turn the petcock off and let it run most of the fuel out.
  21. My 05 had the same problems--surely honda could do better, or at least teach the "ass emblers" the right way to use an impact wrench!! The first thing i did with my replacement was to use a 3/8 socket/allen, whack it with a hammer and remove, then put grease on it!
  22. The easiest fix is usually increase the pilot to a 36 and higher octane fuel.
