  11. i`ve been riding a 250 majesty on and off for the last couple of years, and thought it was great untill i rode another one !! it turns out that my bike does not have the additional flywheel weight fitted, does anyone know where i can get one? the difference it makes is huge!! much softer and not so revvy.
  12. acu classic series- good points woody, bur consider this, the reason these trials are so tough is that the sections are set to take marks off the over 40 class who are on modern bikes.surely a classic event should not include modern bikes, including scorpas in the air cooled mono class !!!
  13. you guys are living in the past!! i sold a 350 gripper for
  14. talking of ACU CLASSIC SERIES why are brand new scorpas allowed in the air cooled mono class ?

    Tr 34

bought this on e-bay 6 months ago.restored it to pretty much as new, don`t ask how much it cost!! the biggest problems were rear wheel spokes and caliper seals, other than that it was straight forward - many thanks to all at john lampkins for there help.
  16. here is a pic, have spent a bloody fortune on it - must be mad!!!
  17. just finished restoring my tr34.john lampkin has loads of bits, but no caliper seals!! i had tank decals made at my local graphics company.maybe i will see you at the ACU classic series next year !!
  18. held in derbyshire last sunday. 1st east midlands-62 marks lost.2nd south eastern-132 marks lost.3rd yorkshire-134 marks lost.it was a good tough trial with no shortage of big rocks!!
  19. remove springs and fully compress forks-oil should be 6" from top.try 10w to start with.the springs tend to settle with age,a good trick is to add an inner norton twin valve spring to each leg.
  20. the window is for synchronizing the slide lift on a twin cylinder road bike.
  21. thanks for your reply,i will post some pics during the restoration,by the look and sound of the bike it will be the shortest restoration ever !!! i am planning to do the ACU CLASSIC championship on it next year,i hear that they are good, tough trials.does any one have any experience of these trials ?
