  1. remove the springs, fully compress the forks, fill to 6" from top - this is a foolproof method, never fails!!! 5wt if you like them soft,15wt if you like them firm.
  2. old trials fanatic makes several points about peak classic trials,in an attempt to please all the riders we will be running a 50 / 50 route from now on,which in theory will mean the clubman route can be nice and non threatening, the expert route can be fairly challenging and the majority of riders who fall in the middle will also have a good days sport.like most clubs we have a huge range of rider ability,we also have many competitive riders,as well as many people who just want a steady ride out on there old bike, with this in mind it is very difficult to get it right all the time.hopefully these changes will go some way to pleasing more of the riders more of the time.
  3. take a look at this on ebay item no. 150022974895

  10. did a lot of messing about with my majesty forks, the best way is to remove springs and fully compress forks fill to 5" from top with 15w oil, then add or remove spring packers to suit, the amount of packers will depend on how buggered your springs are, mine needed 1" hope this helps !!

  15. thanks to woody for his advice, the mods are now complete. 1. footrests repositioned. 2. swinging arm length increased by 40mm 3. shock absorbers 25mm longer. 4. forks pushed thru` yokes 10mm 5. handlebar clamps repositioned up and forwards 20mm took the bike to bracken rocks today and happily it is much better, seems to grip and turn in great, the biggest improvement is the riding position, feels more like a modern bike.
