I never had that problem with the idle at 1100 rpm, even with a 10 tooth front sprocket.After I got back from a little trip to the local training spots I did some testing on my 4RT. My fan runs for about a minute and cuts back in after about 20 - 25 seconds. Just make sure that the plunger isn't restricted in it's movement. But if it's GasGas that's a few years old also check other places on the frame for cracks, especially the welds around the headset and swing arm. If it's got Formula clutch and brake master cylinders be sure they're in perfect working order. And spend some time reading topics on this GasGas forum, you'll learn a lot that way
