oh and while its pressure bleeding, you give the brake lever a cheeky little pump aswell.
but only depress the pedal half of its maximum travel, or three quarters at most. never fully down, the seals dont like it

i had a stroke of good luck to be honest. i managed to fit a new bleed nipple and all seems ok so far.
i didnt bother updating as it looked to me like people werent reading.
to answer your question, no i have not got a cap that fits.
either remove the cap from the eezibleed and connect it to the bleed nipple on the bike to bleed it backwards, or take the pipe off the little reservoir on the bike and join them up then crack the bleed nipple open.
it works so good ill never do it any other way now.

this is the type of question there is no definitive answer to really.
everybody will be different, and have their own preference, and will think their way is the best way.
same as the choice of 2 stroke oil. some will only use castrol. some putoline.
i just use a good quality oil, from a known brand. normally whatever i can get on offer/cheapest at the time.
as far as fuel/oil ratio is concerned, i chop and change until i find what i think is best for the bike.
i havent had mine long enough to experiment yet, but as an example i used 80ml mix last time and found the bike smoked a little too much for my liking, and my mates were complaining who werre riding behind me.

i know they are not on your list, but i really like my Hebo boots.
they are light and comfortable, and also offer good grip.
i dont know about the longevity of them, as its my first pair.
i got no complaints with mine at all. ive even come off in rivers etc and my feet stay bone dry.

would anybody care to explain what exactly "stop" and "no stop" is?
explain like you would to a 6 year old

UPDATE on this.
No rear brake pressure again... and the bike has not been used since my previous post.
kitted up earlier this afternoon to go for a ride and nearly wrote my bike (and myself) off into my garden gates on my way out.
i was fed up then so i stripped everything down and found the bleed nipple on the rear caliper not sealing.
on removal of the nipple i found that the previous owner or garage that has done work on it has stripped the aluminium threads out of the caliper by overtightening the nipple, and they then inserted a heli-coil into the caliper to try and repair it.. well it didnt.
i managed to find a bigger bleed nipple in my box of bits, so im gonna drill it out tomorrow and re-tap a new thread in the caliper
if it dont work then its new caliper time. balls.

as mentioned firstly make sure you got a little bit of clearance between the lever and the master cylinder to stop it pumping up.
when you get the bike home and bleed it, do you get air bubbles out of it?

when is there going to be any trials on TV?
unless im missing something, there hasnt been any trials on for a month
-
im sure you dont need a Gas Gas specific mechanic to look after your bike for you.
just find a reputable motorbike garage that you're happy with
-
that looks very nice mate!
looks very clean in the first few pics. mine hasnt been that clean since i bought it
-
so if you're climbing an uphill, muddy, stone, dry or otherwise, whats the best positioning for the body on the bike ?
people keep telling me to shift further back to keep weight on the rear tyre for traction purposes, not to lose drive and slip.
but i find myself more comfortable and in control leaniing forward, B*****ks on the petrol tank.
-
id try bleeding it first. the brake pedal shoudlnt go to the bottom even if the pads are worn
-
hi, i done this job an hour ago and it worked like a champ.
i took the reservoir off and joined the pipes up and bled it from the bleed nipple. i used air pressure from the front tyre of the bike.
you can also use this to bleed it backwards by connecting to the bleed nipple if u wish.
here it is for anybody interested :

they are cheaper than that in halfords, i got mine there years ago

cheers for the help and offers of a lend tho
-
hi.
any of you lads know where i can get a big syringe on a sunday?
my bike seems to have developed a spongy or near enough not working rear brake (unusual?)
no external leaks and the reservoir was full so im not sure how air has got in there?
