I bought a new kickstarter last month for my TLR200 from the local Honda dealer, but what a price ....

Is that the sump guard for a beta r2w ????

I have proof that cybermen did exist and the Japs have recycled them to make TLR200's. Today was the first time I changed the oil in my TLR, imagine my suprise when I took the sump guard off to find this.

They need clipping together to bring the fan back into the circuit, see image, connectors A and B. As can be seen they will clip to each other. Soounds right, I would have a look on mine, but its gone for a couple of weeks holiday in Weston-S-M.

Looking at the destruction manual there are 2 wiring diagrams, the fan circuit is the same for both, other than wire colours. There is a mini 2 wire connector shown form the reg/rec unit (Black & Green) that is back to back hardwired to another 2 wire mini connector, blue and green wires also lead off from this pair of connectors to the lighting circuit. When the lighting circuit is removed, the two sections of the mini connectors that remain on the bike need to be clipped together. The kill switch goes on the two single connectors with green & black with white stripe wires. Hope that makes sense, if not let me know and i'll scan the relevant bit when I wake up and find the scanner

Gordon & John, Thanks very much guys for the pointers. Having looked at it in the cold light of day I think the cable is not helping. I can pull the lever right up to the bars and all adjustment has been used. I had been trying to remember the name of the company that made good cables and now you've reminded me ..... a new venhill cable will be orderded shortly. I also ride a mono (monty 315) but my predicement is not caused by me riding a disc braked bike, they really are bad, I wouldn't want to ride on the road with these brakes! The engine braking in 1st or 2nd makes trials possible as long as I can keep it smooth Bill.
