What is there to bleed?
I think you will find he is talking about old drum brakes
the only thing on the bike that can bleed is the rider,it`s a 82 swm with 140mm drum brakes...disc brakes are next...

swms are ahrma legal.there were 15 imported into the usa pre 1979.#1 thru #15..i know cause i have #15. the ahrma guys can`t say anything about them because the year and #s are stamped on the headstay..as for the rider being the major factor i`ll put my swm head to head with any year twin shock drum braked bike...even the honda 4 strokes...brian...johnnyb

after a lot of work from a lot of people the event came off great.thanks to the landowers for letting us ride on a great spot.thanks for the club members for helping me lay out the sections and there advice on the lines.thanks for keith taylor at mid west swm for his support of swm`s in the usa.thanks to the riders for coming and having a good time riding??.next year it`ll be a little easier.thanks to the cops who let me off with a warning sunday morning when i was going65mph in a 30mph zone.also i would like to thank all the"guys" for keeping trials fun for me ...johnnyb...,...let`s do it again next year...

does anyone have a clear photo of the rear monoshock setup ? i`ve got a few fuzzy ones that are hard to make out. can`t find a factory made one so i`m building my own...johnnyb
-
the bolger ossa in the photo belonged to maryland champion chris hoffmeister.he rode it until he got one of the first swms in the usa.the ossa had a motor full of low end pulling power. the bike rode unlike any of the bikes of its time.with the betor forks and the koni shocks it gripped and flexed over any thing in the sections.the biggest drawback was the turning, you learned quick how to do floaters.i got the bike from chris and rode it from b class thru a class in the late 70`s how many did they make? less then 50,sold the bike with a dead motplat and a broken rear wheel{killed a lot of rear wheel bearings} for 100 bucks, want it back? no i bought my 82 swm after the ossa and been riding them forever...johnnyb
-
if they look cool and you don`t mind shipping to the usa i might be able to take 5 or 10..our series now has 4or 5 full time swm riders now...johnnyb
-
at lease you can find them over there for sale.here in the states if you see 2 or 3 for sale all year it`s a great .but most likely the bikes are beat....johnnyb
-
