  1. woooohoooo... Carb will be fine from new, but put new grease in the linkage. A VERY important thing to do is speak to "copemech" on here and get some CF swingarm protectors with your name engraved into them Also to keep it looking nice, stick some carbon down the frame NOT the trick bits protectors.......they are S**T, they fill up with grit and still scratch the frame. If you are keeping the raptor pegs off your old bike, put these on to give a more stable ride as you may find the standard pegs a little small.
  2. Yes barry, i do like YOU in pink lycra but thats about it on the gay things. However i do have a pic of you as my background on t computer :D

  3. just like the call centre workers that call themselves stephen, ben etc but barely speak a word of english
  4. I also find neutral is quite good for really big hill climbs
  5. essex rider

    Fuel Ratio

I seem to remember the mix stated in the manual is 2% (50:1??) However i use about 60-70:1 Hope this helps not long now till you'll decide to ditch the beta and get a 125 sherco
  6. im ordering a few of these!! which i think are the same as what mark is talking about....
  7. according to the results i have here it is 6th, however this is one of the first copies of the results done on the day so may have been updated
  8. Can I have my result please? number 52 - Daniel Beaven (twinshock) Any chance you could e-mail me full results please? DanBeaven@hotmail.com 6th in class with a score of 59......not bad considering 15 of those were for time. That beats a lot of the local top intermediates.......well done. Cant email results as ive only got a paper copy.
  9. Just got the results.......what number were you?? heres the top three in each class A Neil Gaunt 69 Dave Thorpe 78 Martyn Wilmore 89 B Phil Wiffen 15 Roger Williams 27 Barry Roads 41 C Mark Reason 22 Pete Ruscoe 37 Nic Draper 39 D Chris Koch 8 Simon Leggett 9 Clint Leggett 27 E Stephen Farrall 31 Allen Collier 35 Trevor Harvey 86 Any specific numbers/ names just ask
  10. I think this is what is on my 2.9 also. The bike came with a fast action throttle as a spare so i guess the previous owner may have changed it. I will swap them over later today as the bike does rev a lot even with little movement........its scary
  11. Glad you enjoyed it.... How did you find the sections?? A few people were moaning about them, i think they were just right for the conditions, any less tight and there would have been single figure scores.
  12. ooh ooh i might be. Ill be riding a scott full susser if i am, with added slicks You doing it on one of your old BMX's barry???
  13. Might seem a bit drastic but why not just shave a bit off either end with a lathe?? Or i remember seeing somewhere that made rubber inlet manifolds that were fairly cheap.
  14. Is that a new brake pedal, only ask cos mines different...... The cover does look good in the photo, you should try and add an oil window in there so you can check if it is leaking or letting water in My yokes are polished now, just need to cut the bar mounts bigger to take fatbars
  15. Mark: It looks amazing, smooth and shiney, much better than the original and apparently doesnt leak.........yet Glenn: you need a photobuket account to put pictures on here. This may help
  16. This reminds me of a joke i was told.............. Why shouldnt you wear Y-fronts in ukraine????? Chernobyl fallout!!
  17. Change of plan.......sherco is too clean to take observing so i will be sitting next to a beamish with an immaculate tank, less the suzuki stickers. See you there
  18. Never had the pleasure of riding a caby replica, but im re-building mine over the next two weeks, with new bearings all round and fluids as well. And my shocks leaking a little oil (i think all this sand down here has scratched it and ruined the seal) so either an 07 shock OR a TRP one, so it may start to feel a little smoother at the rear.
  19. LOTS!!!..................however you could get a runner in below average condition for between
  20. WHAT...........A WOMAN DRIVING???
  21. ??? beta, bad handling??? i feel the beta is one of the best handling bikes for tight turns etc, as for the sherco, it is easy to hop which is good as they dont turn as tight as the betas. Different bikes will suit different areas of britain (if this is where youre from) and also a lot depends on your riding style.
  22. I win again justin........converted you to a sherco lover without even meeting you. My first problem with the sherco is a bloody puncture!!!
  23. Will you both be riding your modern bikes then?? Ill be observing at the third group (i think?) After the crossroads at pebmarsh anyway, lots of hills and everyones favourite, ROOTS! What routes you going to ride then........Expert????
  24. You shouldnt be hopping at your age justin.........and with that heavy bike of yours it cant be doing the old back much good
