STOP PRESS . The President of the Bradford Club has purchasesd a new nightie with her first weeks pension. (see WWW.bradfordtrials.co.uk) Up to press there will only be 5 competitors who she can show it to. (Ron is a bit peefed because it looks better on her than him) Where are all the entries going to because they aint coming to the event secretary. There are plenty of post on this forum stating that they are coming. Lets start seeing a few envelopes through the door with entry forms? Dont let Andy down, he has put a lot of effort into arranging the trial and obtaining many awards from the trials scene. Remember to be part of it you have to enter. Trialscentral.com along with Bradford & District MC look forward to recieving your entry ASAP.

  8. Has anyone received confirmation from the club that they have a ride???
  9. Yes he is a member of Bradford Club. He was spending a lot of time on the continent with his parents travelling around. On his visits to the UK he would ride trials when and where he could. Rode his 1st Scott 2 years ago and did not disgrace himself. Over the years he has improved a great deal and I believe would be an acknowledged expert if he rode in a Centre long enough to be graded. Not bad at hopping and bopping but as we all know hopping sideways in the UK is a 5.
  10. Cheer up Techno. Look at TSR22 in the ACU handbook. page 133 - it states ' 5 '- When requested by a rider rather than attempt the section. Did the observer put down a 5 on the card? If so the results person is at fault. If the observer did not put a score on the card how does the result person know you asked for a 5. I belive this rule was put in a couple of years ago with referance to 'duty of care'. If you asked for a five but the observer tells you to ride the section and you have an accident, the observer would be at fault and and maybe the courts could have got involved. Dont worry about it just fill in your TC entry form and get it in the post.

No cheques will be cashed until after the event so lets start seeing the postman deliver a few envelopes to my door. The question of practice: The land owner allows riders to practice therefore we cannot stop it (we wouldn,t want to any way, but you will not be covered by the permit insurance until the trial starts on the Sunday. Kath (Secretary still waiting for entries)
